Welcome to The Over Easy, nestled beautifully atop the hill overlooking the property. This newly built cabin is surrounded by woods, ensuring a tranquil and restful stay.
Upon your arrival, you will see the front porch that transports you into the foyer area, which serves as a warm welcome to all who visit! Make your way to the family room, where you'll view the fireplace. It will provide a soft, warm, and cozy glow while spending quality time with those you love! Moving to the kitchen, you'll see the custom-built cabinets, wood countertops, and all stainless-steel appliances, dishware, and cookware for a complete and proper family meal!
On the main level, you'll find two bedrooms where you can choose between a king or a queen-sized bed and a bathroom with a walk-in shower. Proceed downstairs, where you'll find two more bedrooms—one with a king bed, one with a queen-sized bed, and another with a full tub/shower. You'll also notice a game room with a pool table, a bar with stools, a game/snack table, and another fireplace to keep you warm while having fun!
Are you looking to spend some time in the great outdoors? The Over Easy has everything you could want and more to become one with nature! A screened-in porch off the living room leads to the neighboring deck, where you will find the charcoal grill. Or, if you'd prefer, build a bonfire to sit around and tell spooky stories with family.
You're in luck if you have a party larger than eight guests! The Over Easy rests on the same property as its sister cabin, The Big Easy! The Big Easy can accommodate up to eight more guests and can be rented simultaneously if available! No need to worry if you only need The Over Easy, though; on the same 52 acres, guests at each property cannot see one another as The Over Easy is farther into the wooded area on the hill. The only shared amenity is the 1.5-acre pond!
The Over Easy has a reasonably steep drive. It is helpful if you have a front-wheel or four-wheel drive vehicle. When going up the hill, maintain a steady speed; you should not have any problems.
Rural Environment Notice Our cabins are located in the beautiful woods and countryside of Brown County, Indiana. While we provide routine professional pest control and keep our homes clean and well-maintained, guests may occasionally see seasonal pests such as mice, flies, lady beetles (Asian beetles), or stink bugs — especially in the fall and spring.
These harmless insects are part of life in a rural setting. We do everything possible to minimize their presence and appreciate your understanding as part of the authentic Brown County experience!
PET-FRIENDLY PROPERTY: There is a $75 fee per pet. Moondance Vacation Homes proudly donates a portion to the Brown County Humane Society when you bring your pet and pay your pet fee. All gas fireplaces are seasonal and available for use from October 1st - April 1st.
ALL EVENTS, DAY GUESTS, AND PARTIES ARE PROHIBITED WITHOUT PRIOR WRITTEN APPROVAL FROM PROPERTY MANAGEMENT. Effective July 1, 2025, the county has raised the innkeeper's tax from 5% to 8%. -Please bring bottle water as the water is Non-potable for drinking and cooking (the water is safe to shower with and the hot tub is tested after each stay)
