Bikini Bottom is a brand new duplex home, built in 2022. This home is being offered for the very first time this 2023 season. Enjoy the open concept main floor with a gorgeous dining and kitchen area, screened in porch with outdoor TV, wood burning fire stove, and grill for casual summer nights outside. Electric vehicle charging station on site! Located in Michigan city, just a 10 minute walk to the shores of Lake Michigan, and a 3 minute drive to Blue Chip Casino. Downtown Michigan City & the Lighthouse Outlet Mall are less than 2 miles away. This home is serene, comfortable, and perfect for your family vacation. All bedrooms are on the same floor - great for families with young kids.

Nice Place

The house was just as described. Very clean and a short drive to the beach. It’s about a 20 minute drive to New Buffalo if you’re looking to visit that area. Would recommend.

Very happy with our rental. Everything was new and clean. Plenty of towels, pillows, blankets, dishes, etc. Needed to contact maintenance for a plumbing issue and had it resolved in under an hour. Would definitely stay again if I had to do it over.

We stayed 3 nights at the townhouse. We were delighted when we unlocked the door to find a clean and updated living space.The kitchen was well organized and all 6 of us could be in there together around the island. The kitchen was impressively stocked with everything needed to prepare meals. We enjoyed playing cards at the large table and watching movies. The upstairs provided a nice space for our big kids ( ages 15-20) to get a break from us parents! The 15 minute walk to Washington Park beach was a great after dinner activity and we were rewarded with awesome views of the sunset. One day we walked to an awesome coffee shop, Fluid, in downtom Michigan City. This was a long walk, but for the adults that woke up early, it was a nice way to get some steps in before our big kids woke up. We also drove to New Buffalo and St Joseph, which was an easy drive.

The beach is so close to the house as well and parking wasn’t a challenge like we anticipated. While our stay was short, some of the home details that I really appreciated were but are not limited to: USB and C-plug access pn wall outlets, tons of silverware and dishware, laundry detergent pods, dishwasher pods, paper towels, garbage and sandwich bags, hair dryer, fans in every room (ceiling fans had remotes too), keyless entry, televisions in every bedroom and communal space, great quality cookware, dish soap, hand soap that smelled so good, and more. It is clear that this home was established to be truly used and lived in comfortably. Location is 4-8 minutes from dining and shopping as well - terrific stay!

Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: My family have stayed in our share of vacation rentals, but we all thought that Bikini Bottom was the best. Everything was as described, but better. Little details throughout the property are what truly made our stay perfect. The beds were comfortable and whoever made them does a fantastic job. The sheets were pulled so tightly that we all commented on how comfortable we were. The floor length mirrors in the bedrooms were a nice touch. We appreciated the starter supplies of everything (baggies, trash bags, shampoo/conditioner, toilet paper, paper towels). Then hand soap smelled good and was good quality, not some cheap stuff. Literally, everything was better than we anticipated. The screened in porch was amazing. We loved sitting out there in the evenings. We used the air mattress and it was phenomenal. Super comfy with its own headboard. There are soft white blankets that we used for the air mattress. There are also clean, white towels in the bathrooms, as well as black wash cloths to remove make up, though we didn't need to use them because make up wipes were provided. Beach towels are available and were brand new. We appreciated the double sinks in both bathrooms as well as the fact that the toilet is separate and has a pocket door dividing it from the sink area. The home still has a new house smell and everything is clean. I'm sure I am forgetting some things as there were just too many great qualities to remember them all. If you've read this far and are considering this property, just do it. You will not be disappointed. We are already talking about returning next year. Thank you!

Just a few minute drive from the beach was nice and a few blocks from Dune Billies, which I recommend. The home was clean overall, just some minor flooring dust. One recommendation is to stock some board games, decks of cards or Jenga type game. We highly recommend this property!
