This was a very cozy, clean cottage in the pine hills area near Julian. My girlfriend really really liked the way it was decorated. A nice touch where they chickens and turkeys outside in the pen. The bed was good and comfortable, which is great because we've had a lot of uncomfortable beds lately. All in all, a wonderful, beautiful stay. We will be back. Angela is a great host.

This house is welcoming, clean, & cozy with beautiful cottage decor. The wooded property is quiet & very well kept with pretty views. We were able to cook as the cabin is perfectly stocked. We then enjoyed a peaceful evening of reading & streaming movies. My husband said he had not slept that well in years as the bed was so comfy. It was an easy drive to the main part of town. Check in was simple. Hope to return.

Anniversary getaway

Great location and very well stocked. We loved the the high quality of bedding towels etc. being able to make breakfast with all the amenities was great! Highly recommend this cottage!

Wonderful stay

Wonderful Getaway

This cottage is perfect if you’re looking for some quiet and solitude. Wonderful host and the cottage is stocked with everything you need, including snacks, coffee, bottled water, etc. Really lovely stay.

Best vacation ever!!

Dana is wonderful as everyone describes. The cottage was clean, well stocked, and wonderful. It was one of the best vacation we had, we couldn't be more happy with our stay. We have wonderful memories with little ones there.

Peaceful and convenient

We enjoyed our stay at the Wild Rose cottage, one of two cottage rentals on the property. Instructions were clear, cottage was clean and will stocked, and chickens, ducks and pigs housed nearby were a fun novelty. Very close to Julian, but quiet and peaceful. Would stay here again.

We had a really relaxing week's stay at White Rose Cottage, using the location as a base for day trips to Anza–Borrego Desert State Park and other nearby parks. The cottage was very quiet and super clean, with all we needed for basic cooking during our stay. Even though a heatwave pushed temps in Julian up to high 80s during the day, the cottage stayed cool and was very pleasant at night. No need to use the a/c or fan. Vittoria was a great host and we appreciate her efforts to wrangle the VRBO booking system after we mistakenly booked the wrong dates. And the chickens, quail and mischievous duck were very entertaining! Hope we'll get a chance to visit again.

Cozy Country Cottage

I came here alone for solitude & connection to nature, and got that here in this quiet neighborhood. Perfect central location to all the local hiking trails and easy quick drive to either Julian or Wiynola restaurants & shops. Bed/pillows very comfortable and great shower/tiwels.

Fall retreat

Came here for a 2 night stay to enjoy some Fall color. Perfect little property in an ideal location-had everything we needed with a few extras for indulgences. Appreciated the breakfast! Highly recommend and would definitely come here again

Beautiful place to stay on our little weekend getaway. Very clean cottage, stocked with pretty much everything you would need. Comfortable bed, nice bedding, big television, cable, private yard in the back. What else can I say. 10/10. We would definitely stay here again when we come back to visit Julian.

quite cottage

It was clean, private and quite. A little smaller than advertised, about 650 sq ft (interior) ads have it at 900 sq ft. Overall we enjoyed or stay.
