About this property

Private Flathead Lake Home — 200 Ft Shoreline, F-Dock, Crescent Bay

Spend a week on your own stretch of Flathead Lake — one of the largest and cleanest freshwater lakes in North America — from a fully private, family-managed property on the quiet shores of Crescent Bay in Rollins, MT.

The property gives you 200 feet of private shoreline and a 75-foot F-shaped dock built for swimming, fishing, and watching the sun drop behind the Mission Mountains.

A wrap-around porch runs the length of the house and a second-story balcony sits above it, giving you sunset views from two levels without leaving the property.

Inside, the house sleeps eight across three bedrooms and 2.5 bathrooms with two full living areas, a fully outfitted kitchen, washer and dryer, dishwasher, and free WiFi. Spacious closets and a large yard make it a practical basecamp for the week, not just an overnight stop.

Crescent Bay is one of the calmer inlets on the west shore — ideal for swimming with kids, morning kayaking, and fishing off the dock without motorboat traffic. The calm-water bay is a genuine differentiator you don't get on the exposed shoreline properties.

The region gives you a lot of range. You're 15 minutes from Lakeside for restaurants and groceries, 30 minutes from Kalispell, 45 minutes from Bigfork Village and its summer theater, and 45 minutes from Polson. Glacier National Park is a 90-minute drive. Wild Horse Island State Park is a 5-minute drive. Blacktail Mountain and Whitefish Mountain Resort are both accessible for winter and shoulder-season stays.

The property is pet-friendly with prior approval and a deposit.

Pricing is all-in — no hidden fees.

Great place and location, dock was amazing. Enjoyed our stay, great place for your boat. It took us 2 hours to check in, cleaners locked actual door knob, had to make contact with property manager to get key to enter property. All in all would stay here again. Had a great relaxing time.

Beautiful property in a picture-perfect setting

We absolutely loved our stay here. The house is across the street from the lake with a fantastic private dock. Plenty of room for our pups to roam in the large yard. Everything you need for a nice relaxing stay on the lake! Great neighbors too!

A little slice of heaven!Fabulous lake access and views. Very private. Spacious and comfortable for our family reunion. Nicely appointed buildout and decor. Easy communication with the Property Managers. My favorite spot was coffee on the private dock and deck.

Lakehouse Review

The Lakehouse was perfect for our family. With so many shared spaces on the property, we were all able to relax and enjoy spring in Montana. While it was too cold to swim, there is a big dock and a lot of private lake access. The neighborhood is quiet and calm, making it easy to go on morning or evening walks. We look forward to our return trip to Flathead!

Good overall, few important details

The stay was great. House was clean and in a very nice area. Boaters- be aware that the closest boat launch is 4 miles away at west shore. The driveway is super tight to get trailers in and out of. The dock was very nice to have though!

Tasha, we're glad you enjoyed the property and appreciated the boat dock. While we're sorry to hear about your frustration with a boat launch, this is a known issue on Flathead Lake; as one of the largest freshwater lakes west of the Mississippi, both public access and general geography allow for boat launches only every few miles on the lake itself, and very few properties have their own.

Family Vacation

The property was excellent. View of the lake was incredible. We really enjoyed the location and the amenities were amazing. The reason I’m only giving four stars instead of five is Check in was delayed by 20 minutes and the washer did not work very well to dissolve the laundry tide pods. Also, I would recommend having ceiling fans installed because there’s no air-conditioning.

Hi Julie, We are so happy to hear that you had a great stay overall. We wish we could have knew about it during your stay so we can compensate you. But we are thankful you added it to your review. We addressed the issue with our cleaning crew and we will ensure this won’t happen again. Additionally, I want to thank you for your feedback regarding the AC, we don’t advertised AC in the unit, most of MT doesn't have AC - the temperature can drop 30-40 degrees in the evening. And each room has multiple fans just in case. I want to ensure you we will take it into consideration for improvement so we can continue hosting awesome guests like yourself. :)

Please come back soon!

We're fifth-generation Montanans who grew up on this stretch of Flathead Lake. The church camp around the corner is where our family learned to swim, and this property has been part of our lives long enough that we feel the responsibility of sharing it the right way. We manage it ourselves — with local staff in Lakeside and Polson — because we care about the experience guests have here. When you stay, you're not renting from a management company. You're borrowing a place that means something to us, and we want it to feel that way.

Why they chose this property

Crescent Bay on the west shore of Flathead Lake is one of the quietest inlets you'll find on the lake. It doesn't get the motorboat traffic of the more exposed stretches, which makes it exceptional for families — calm water for kids to swim, mornings on the dock without noise, evenings where the only thing you hear is the lake. Rollins is small and unhurried. You're close enough to Lakeside and Kalispell when you need something, but far enough out that the whole point of being here is just being here.

What makes this property unique

Two hundred feet of private Flathead Lake shoreline and a 75-foot F-shaped dock — the kind of setup where half your family is swimming off the dock while the other half is fishing from the end of it. The wrap-around porch and second-story balcony mean you're never choosing between the yard and the view. Inside, two full living areas make it easy for a multi-family trip or a group that wants space to spread out without stepping on each other. This is a property built for the kind of week where you stop checking your phone.
