Design-Led Riverfront Cabin Tucked in the Forest with Cedar Hot Tub
This beautifully designed riverfront Catskills cabin is just two hours from NYC. Right on the river, the home features expansive picture windows and iconic mid-century modern furnishings. A Japanese cedar hot tub and wood-burning stove create an easy rhythm for mornings and evenings. Thoughtfully stocked with Frette linens, and essential amenities, this home is designed for rest without compromise. Wake to the sound of the river, unwind in nature, and sleep deeply. Dog-friendly and baby-ready.
The space
Wake up to the sound of the river in your backyard.
If you’ve been craving a reset — room to breathe, to play, to feel like yourself again — this hidden Catskills cabin was designed for exactly that. Set in a quiet, wooded pocket of the western Catskills, the home offers true rest, reconnection, and ease, without sacrificing comfort or design.
Whether you’re here for a romantic escape, a family adventure, or a slow weekend with friends, the cabin becomes your personal sanctuary. Days unfold easily: nearby hikes and forest walks, slow meals cooked together, long afternoons reading by the fire, evenings soaking in the hot tub, or simply doing nothing at all.
Your Cozy, Designer Hideaway
Lovingly upgraded with a sense of warm minimalism and high design, the cabin blends clean white lines, a bold brick fireplace, and timeless American and Danish mid-century pieces by design icons like Russell Wright and George Nelson. The space is calm, spotless, and thoughtfully laid out — intimate enough for two, yet comfortable for up to six guests.
Easy self check-in allows you to arrive on your schedule and settle in without friction.
This home is designed for rest without compromise.
What Makes It Special
Guests consistently rave about the exceptionally comfortable beds, layered with luxury Frette five-star linens. Massive picture windows blur the line between indoors and out, while a wood-burning stove and heated bathroom floors make the space inviting year-round. The kitchen features high-end Bosch appliances and a well-stocked pantry, making slow meals effortless. Fast Wi-Fi supports remote work or streaming — or unplugging entirely, by choice. Throughout the home, you’ll find curated art books, puzzles, and board games for unhurried evenings.
Outdoor Bliss
Step into nature while enjoying complete comfort. A Japanese-style cedar hot tub overlooks the river, offering a private place to unwind in every season. An outdoor shower is available April through October, weather permitting. Adirondack chairs, a bonfire pit, hammocks, and a spacious private yard invite long days outside. The cabin is surrounded by forest, with easy access to nearby trails for hiking, nature walks, and quiet forest bathing.
Despite the secluded setting, you’re just ten minutes from award-winning restaurants, charming shops, and artisan boutiques.
For Your Little Travelers (Human + Furry)
Dogs are warmly welcomed with a plush Pendleton bed, Yeti bowls, and an LL Bean blanket. For families, the home is baby-ready with a BabyBjörn travel crib, organic cotton sheets, and an OXO high chair — so you can pack light and relax fully.

About the host
Your host
I’m a born-and-raised New Yorker with a lifelong wanderlust
For years, I searched for a place in the forest that felt genuinely wild, playful, and alive. When I found this mid-century hunting cabin, I knew it was special. I renovated it carefully and intentionally, upgrading it to modern standards while honoring its soul.
Every detail was chosen with care. The furniture and d écor come from travels around the world, and each piece carries meaning and memory. This isn’t a styled rental — it’s a lived-in home, layered with stories.
Hospitality is at the heart of what I do. I truly love hosting, and there’s nothing more meaningful to me than sharing this beautiful place with others. Many guests return year after year, which feels like the highest compliment.
I’m so delighted to welcome you — to discover the cabin, the river, and the quiet magic of this place.

Why they chose this property
Narrowsburg and the Western Catskills were a wonderful surprise — a place I stumbled upon almost by instinct.
I drew a simple radius around New York City and began exploring. The moment I arrived in Narrowsburg, I knew this was home.
The downtown is quaint yet vibrant, with a strong sense of community and an unmistakably artistic spirit. Life here moves at a different pace — creative, grounded, and deeply connected to the land. Access to the Delaware River, along with countless trails, waterfalls, and outdoor adventures, continues to inspire me season after season.

What makes this property unique
The cabin is the perfect size for a couple or a small group of friends. It’s intentionally cozy, with a distinctly European feel that encourages shared meals, long conversations, and an easy flow between indoor and outdoor living.
The common spaces are designed to be used, quiet corners for reading, and open areas where people naturally gather. Outside, the same sense of intention carries through, with multiple places to sit, pause, and take in the forest.
The river is central to the experience. It’s always present — visible, audible, and grounding. Guests talk about it long after they leave. For many, it becomes the memory they carry with them. listening to the water at night, or simply watching it move past the cabin, hour after hour.
This is a place meant for slowing down and being together.
