Hello!
Welcome to my Aptos beach house. A little bit about me...
I spent 15 years living and working overseas with my family in Morocco, Lithuania, and Costa Rica. I returned to California in 2015 and fell in love with Aptos and Monterey Bay for its beautiful beaches, mountains, and access to the San Francisco Bay Area. As a beach lover, surfer, runner, and hiker, I found Aptos to be the perfect spot to enjoy nature, the beach, and the mountains all with having quick access to San Francisco to see a Giant's baseball game or to head into Oakland or Berkeley for Ethiopian, Greek, or Indian food, to see a show, or hike in the hills.
I love adventure travel and do most of my traveling with my kids so I understand what parents are looking for in a vacation - ease and simplicity, memory-making, less time in the car, and more time doing fun things together, etc. I believe that showing children the world as often and as early as possible is important.
“Travel is fatal to prejudice, bigotry, and narrow-mindedness, and many of our people need it sorely on these accounts. Broad, wholesome, charitable views of men and things cannot be acquired by vegetating in one little corner of the earth all one's lifetime.” - Mark Twain
I hope you enjoy my beach home and hope that you are able to explore, learn, enjoy life's simple pleasures, and make lasting memories there.
Warmly,
Sarah

Why they chose this property
Walk or bike to the beach or downtown restaurants and shopping. A short 3-minute drive to the Safeway grocery store, gas, and a shopping plaza (coffee shops, hardware store, ATM, pizza, Rite Aid drug store, etc.) It is a 7-10 minute walk to Seacliff Beach and a 10-minute drive to Capitola - more beaches, a mall, a movie theater, etc. 15-20-minute drive to the Santa Cruz Boardwalk, depending on traffic. Easy access to Highway 1 so Monterey, Big Sur, and San Francisco are super accessible via a gorgeous drive through the trees and mountains. Over 20 local beaches are all within a 10- minute drive. Hiking, biking, paddle-boarding, surfing...an outdoor enthusiast’s dream.
