Perfect spot for a weekend in town

Honestly was easy to find a quick drive to everything we wanted to go to (or a cheap uber ride) house was clean and beds were surprisingly comfy. Loved having the back yard. I would stay here again if I’m visiting in the city again and the host went above and beyond with communication. Was a great find for our trip.

Awesome Place!

Super nice place in a great location! The free street parking right out front of the property was a huge plus. The property owner was very easy to deal with and was very responsive. My group enjoyed our stay a lot and we will definitely stay here again!

The upstairs bedroom couch was a blowup couch and the shower was for short people, no one tall will fit in the upstairs shower so we really had only one usable bathroom with a shower

Perfect location.

We were in town for the Dead and Company Final Tour at Wrigley. This was the perfect location. Quick ride to downtown. Plenty of eateries/bars within walking distance of the rental.

Cute and cosy getaway

Very nice and convenient location to go sightseeing in Chicago. Vrbo owner is responsive to inquiries and requests. I love the neighborhood close to many good restaurants and shopping. Feel very safe to be out and about.

Clean, safe, fun place to stay

Very fun space to share with friends for a weekend. We came to Chicago for St. Pattie’s day festivities and had a wonderful time. Very cozy space and very clean. Definitely will need to Uber or drive into the popular areas of the city (about 15min) to wicker park area, restaurants, bars, art museum, etc. but worth it. Definitely would stay again!

Excellent well-stocked property

We had a great time at the Elston property for a girls weekend. We were impressed with how well-stocked the kitchen and bathrooms were (huge Keurig, first aid kit, feminine products, etc). Everything was very clean and updated. Host was very communicative during check in.

Just what we needed

If you're familiar with Chicago apartments, you'll feel right at home. Plenty of space for my two kids, wife, sister, and brother in-law for a long weekend. We enjoyed drinks with old friends on the back patio and had a great time over all. My wife was sold with the available pack-n-play and bunk beds for the kids.

Chicago Girls Weekend

Clean and spacious! Easy check in/out and our host was very communicative and helpful. Plenty of beds and two full bathrooms were perfect for our group of gals in this quiet Chicago neighborhood. Our one suggestion would be a little more seating in the downstairs living space for lounging with the crew for a glass of wine. Would love to visit again in warmer weather to take advantage of the nice backyard!

Chicago getaway

We had a family wedding in Chicago in the Lincoln Park area. Uber ride was a 20 minute drive with traffic so not bad. The house was perfect for my family. There is an upper level with bathroom, bedroom, extra living area ~couch, tv, and desk that made it nice. It was clean with all the amenities. Host was very responsive and easy to communicate with.

Time Out magazine voted Avondale as the 16th coolest neighborhood in the world for 2022, just below Neukölln, Berlin. Although adjacent to luxury areas of the city, the neighborhood maintains a strong ethnic and cultural identity while supporting a thriving dining and drinking scene.
