The perfect spot for a getaway!

We fell in love with the property at first sight! We enjoyed the views of the rolling prairies and the vineyard/orchard - we saw deer running in the prairie on occasion! Sleeping accommodations were perfect for the 3 of us, the bed and sofa sleeper were very comfy! The kitchenette had everything we needed to cook up simple meals and we ehoyed our coffee from the deck chairs and chair swing outdoors! There are plenty of seating options to relax alone or gather and chat up on the deck or under the treehouse. We loved the outdoor shower. The outhouse is not too far from the treehouse. Everything was very clean, cute and cozy! The owners really have made the property a great place to stay and feel secluded from the hustle and bustle of daily life with all the amenities you need to feel right at home- they were very attentive to any questions we had during our stay. We would love to stay here again!

A Minnesota native who's lived in New York, London, Singapore, San Francisco and now Lake Tahoe (Nevada), I love to travel, to meet new people and to explore unique and interesting cultures.

My family has been on Marion Lake for 60+ years. My grandpa and great-grandpa built the cottage a few doors down, and growing up I spent every summer I can remember up here. Marion Lake has shaped so much of who I am and has always been home for our family. As a family, we've been working together since 2022 to share Marion Lake Lodge & Marion Lake Tree House (new in 2023) with others, in hopes you too can experience and appreciate all that Marion Lake has to offer.
