Amala Vacation Rental Solutions do a fantastic job of taking care of all of our laundry and housekeeping needs, keeping our units ship shape and looking perfect. Here are the key reasons Amala is our preferred cleaning partner:

- Piece of mind for our guests! You can be assured all of our units are professionally cleaned and guests can look forward to clean, fresh linen, bedding, and towels every time.

- Guests can feel satisfied knowing Amala provides a living wage for hard working local people who do a fantastic job.

When you feel the need to walk off the extra calories, government street shops, Canada's oldest Chinatown, and the Songhees walking path are all seconds away.

You really couldn't ask for a better location. It is why we choose to spend our time working, living, and loving this neighborhood.

For those attractions that aren't so close:

- Victoria Harbour Water Taxis: Hop on and off at numerous points around the city's historic harbour. Be sure to check out the pickle boat ballet in the summer months.

- Parking:  There is NO parking available in the building. The best recommendation are to park at Centennial Parkade on Fisgard St. $14 daily and free evenings and Sundays. Quick 3-5 minute walk to the Abacus. Alternatively, parking on the street is $3-4/hr and is free from 8 pm - 8 am.

 - Transit: The public bus system will take you from the BC Ferries Schwartz Bay terminal to within 5 minutes walking distance of our place. Get bus #70 from the ferry terminal and get off at the 'Douglas and Cormorant' stop. Walk 5 minutes west down Pandora Ave to the 595 Pandora building.

- Victoria Airport: No bus services here, so best to get to and from via taxi or shuttle bus.

Great central location, perfect for two people
We stayed for a long weekend in February. The space was very comfortable with everything as posted. Easy walking distance to downtown attractions and great restaurants. Not a lot of affordable parking options in the immediate area, but it was easy to walk 4 blocks for free street parking. Thanks for a great launching point for a fun weekend in Victoria!

Location! Location! Location!
The studio is quite central to many places most visitors want to check in Victoria, such as the market, the harbor, Chinatown, shopping and restaurants, including Il Terrazo. The studio was clean, organized, great flow. There are closets to put clothes and suitcases, the kitchen is labelled in a nice manner and the small private balcony was a nice space to sit and talk while listening to the city sounds. If city noise doesn't bother you, then you have found your place to stay. It city noise/activity is not your thing, then you may not enjoy this studio as much. The only 2 suggestions I would have for an improvement is that somehow parking space be added as part of the rental deal. And, while the guest can clean up after themselves that the garbage itself be disposed by the cleaning crew as it was difficult to dispose of the garbage as the doors were locked. Otherwise, it was a good place to stay, and I would book it again.

The location is amazing!!! If anyone is looking for a great central location, this is a pretty good choice. The market was about 300 meters away (maybe even less); Fan Tan Alley was across the street; Il Terrazo is one block away; 2 coffee shops and other restaurants were just across the street. For those who enjoy a morning work-out the gym was next door. I visited Victoria with my mother, and we are both slow walkers, but we walked everywhere except to Fisherman's Wharf as that is maybe 2 - 3 km away one way. The studio is spacious; the closets are enough to put stuff away and it was great having a washer and dryer. There were only 2 negatives: a) the sofa bed is not comfortable to sleep in, it is okay for one night more than that it gets uncomfortable on the body; b) parking we found parking easy enough, however is paid by the hour/day so if you pay for the day ($ 16) but decide to drive you lose your spot which is already paid for. There is the option to pay by the hour ($5 per hour). I would have preferred to have parking included in the fee and have a reserved space allowing me to come and go at my discretion without worrying about parking space/cost. Otherwise the place is pretty awesome.

United by the vacation rental industry my partner Ryan and I met several years ago through our shared passion for creating memorable guest experiences. Fast forward to today and we operate a number of successful businesses with the common goal to share our love of Victoria with the world.

We have lived in this fine city for near 10 years, and now through a number of specially hand-picked units and condos, we can’t wait to welcome you to Victoria. All our units are located in the heart of the action in downtown, with almost all just a stone’s throw away from the waters edge.

We are always trying to innovatively find new ways in which we can make our guest’s lives easier, whether it’s creating smoother check-in processes, offering luggage storage facilities, or providing advice on all the latest events and ‘must dos’.

Our entire aim is to help you and your family create memories of Victoria which will last a lifetime. If you have any questions or we can be of any help, please don’t hesitate to get in touch!

Why they chose this property

All of our units are hand picked and this one is no exception. We operate and choose vacation rental units in a very specific area of Victoria, one where the location of the unit is optimal, conveniently placed between the harbour's edge and downtown Vic. The unit itself is in one of our favourite buildings in the city, and following a full refurbishment and décor we believe we have made somewhere our guests will love to call home during their stay.

What makes this property unique

If you wish to be close to downtown, a short walk from the harbour and close to all of Victoria's best attractions then this is the unit for you. The unit prioritises comfort and convenience, with significant effort placed into making this a space which is both practical and aesthetically pleasing.
