This was an excellent.very quiet property! It was very cozy, and felt comfortable and homey, like staying in “my own cottage” rather than a rental. The host was VERY welcoming and easy to work with, and it was clear that he was happy to have me! I would highly recommend the property and host. The cottage is on the property of an old motel that is empty, I’m told the host is going to turn it into more rentals at some point, but I really enjoy that type of thing (interesting historic-type buildings) and I loved how unique it made the property feel. Oh, and there was fresh fruit in the cottage!

We had such a wonderful one night stay at Shalom Cottage! The place was absolutely beautiful—so cozy, clean, and thoughtfully decorated. Raj, the host was truly amazing! He was kind, responsive, and made sure we had everything we needed from start to finish. We felt so welcomed and comfortable the entire time. This experience tipped the scale from a work trip to a relaxing vacation! The cottage was perfect! I walked into a peaceful space with fresh bouquets of flowers which made it even more welcoming. Raj was so kind and checked in on me which I appreciated and also gave me some great recommendations for places for me to enjoy downtime taking photos.
