The property was nice, but older than we expected from the online pictures. As people over 70, we were unable to navigate the steps to the dock, which was disappointing. They need a little work. I’m sure for younger folks they would not have been a problem. Overall the area and the view from the property were amazing.

The place was quiet and peaceful. The deck and porch give you beautiful views of the lake through oaks and other trees. We were there in September and just kept the windows open and enjoyed the mountain air. Debra was great communicating quickly with us. The lake and pier were perfect. The only thing people need to realize is that there are a lot of stairs to get to the lake. We are older and had no problems but for some it could be an issue. Once you are by the water kayaks and chairs are supplied we could not of had more fun. The place is located very near a lot of restaurants and shops we ate out every night.

PROS: good lake view, dock, 4 kayaks, safe neighborhood (if you want privacy, this is a con), easy check in and out, toiletries were well stocked, cozy, rustic and relaxing, Ingels' donuts, Slab Pizza, Fusion Spa, Signal Ridge MarinaCONS: 177 stairs btwn cabin and dock, 20 steps to neighboring cabins, skillets and dog hair (we are not indoor pet owners)

Another great experience at this quintessential lake cabin. Our grandkids loved the loft and the bear motif! We always love the unbeatable views from the house, porch and deck. We cooked and ate our meals on the porch. Grandkids swam the waters around the dock. We boated and explored the numerous coves. Even tho it rained for much of our stay, we had a great time. Debra and Mark are always available for any questions and respond to any questions immediately. We will be back! Thank you!

Wonderful lakeside vacation spot!

We had a wonderful time at this lovely lakeside house! The owners are VERY responsive and had all of the basics you hope you find in a rental. The view was lovely from every room and we will definitely be back!

Very nice lakeside cabin, with all the amenities one might need. I enjoyed kayaking on the lake, and the lake was warm enough for swimming in August. Close proximity to the marina facilitated pontoon boat rental. Check-in & check-out was perfect.

Lakeside serenity

This by far has been our most favorite stay in the area. So peaceful and amazing access to the lake! We miss it already and for sure will stay next summer but longer that time!

The cabin was perfect for our father/son getaway. The boys enjoyed kayaking and swimming from the dock. The screened porch was a perfect place for all of our meals, especially eating dinner while watching the sunset. The cabin was well stocked with everything we needed.

This is a great cabin on the lake! We got a great workout everyday walking up and down the stairs to the lake! Our dogs had the best time ever too. The sunset views from the deck are amazing! Would stay here again 😄 thank you!

Cozy, rustic cabin well equipped with everything you need to enjoy the lake. Covered screened porch and big open deck make living outside a pleasure. Owners take great care of their property and are attentive to their guest’s needs. Fantastic view!

Wonderfully appointed!

What a fabulous getaway! The cabin is very charming, clean, appointed with everything you could imagine you’d have at home! We enjoyed drinking coffee on the expansive deck overlooking the lake every morning. Great place to stay and very relaxing!
