We had a wonderful stay! Our hosts were so friendly and prompt to respond to any question. The views are stunning and it’s so peaceful. The house was just what we needed with plenty of room. Definitely recommend!
Excellent property that clearly owners put a lot of thought into welcoming and making the stay as nice as possible for guests. Looking forward to coming back.
The property is nice with nice views. Everything was what it said. But the beds were hard so if you like that then its good. There is no air conditioning and it was hot has heck in there. They have these little air coolers in each room and we tried to use them but it was a no go. They did not cool at all! They do have fans in each room but the upstairs would not cool off at all. The downstairs was decent. Also, they need to lose the white towels! We were almost to scare to use them for fear of getting something on them. Yes they look nice but you need something people are not afraid to use. I mean I know your drying clean bodies but come on. If you shave your legs there is a fear of getting blood on then and not knowing you did it! If you know you know! It is a nice place. It just needs some adjustments! If it had air conditioning we would definitely stay there again! The pictures are from front porch! Beautiful!
Our stay here was SO nice! The property was well kept and the perfect mix of rustic mountain cabin with modern conveniences. The host clearly put a lot of thought into all of the little details you may want. From labeling where everything is, to a thoughtfully stocked kitchen, to even supplying separate black towels for washing your makeup off, this home wants for nothing. I cannot recommend this property or its hosts enough!
This home meet all our needs for a wedding weekend in Montana. We enjoyed the big farm table for eating, played cards, and laughing as we shared being together. The patio provided space to linger over coffee in the morning. Plenty of bathrooms to enable everyone to get get ready in the mornings. There was no questioning what the hosts needed to maintain as everything was spelled out throughout the house. All-in-all I would recommend this listing easily. Well done!
We had a great visit. I would highly recommend.
The only issue was that the stars to upstarts. The hand rail does not go all the way up. My wife has a prosthetic leg so getting to the upstairs was a real issue and dangerous. There needs to be handrails on BOTH sides of the stairs. One other issue was the burning of trash from next-door. The smoke came into the house and irritated all of our eyes.
I booked this for a band that was coming to our event, so did not stay here myself! All communications were great and the band had nothing but wonderful things to say about the place!

Montana is a very special place for us! Especially the Bitterroot Valley. We have deep roots with generations of family and friends. We love to be outdoors. The Bitterroot Valley offers a wide variety of outdoor activities including hiking, mountain biking, skiing, fishing, fly fishing and waterfowl/upland game hunting just to name a few. The Bitterroot Valley also known as the "Banana Belt" of Montana has a moderate year round climate that stretches 96 miles north to south. We are pleased to share Long R that is located at the base of the Bitterroot mountains.
