Thank you for your response. Hope to see you all again soon. Come check out Whitefish Mountain Resort in the summer too!
The property was very clean and comfortable. Kitchen and bathrooms were well-stocked and up to date. Lots of room. Disappointed that there was no view because the house is surrounded by others.
This place was great for my two sisters and I. Check in was a breeze. The upper condo is just as pictured - a nice open kitchen/dining/living area and two bedrooms with three beds and two separate bathrooms. The kitchen was well provisioned and everything was very clean. This place sure could use a little love and updating though. The couches are pilled fabric and the carpeting could use replacing. A few ceiling fans and a second fan for the 2nd bedroom would have been great during the heat since there's no AC. It would be nice if the doors had screens and all the windows could be opened too. The outside deck was nice and a BBQ was provided, but it does look out onto the back of the building next door. For the price, it was the perfect place for us to stay while exploring Whitefish, Glacier and Whitefish Mountain Resort and I would stay here again.
I have only good words to say about the property. Everything was in order, staff was very welcoming. I would recommend Whitefish Mountain lodge to everybody. Thank you.
THE BAD:
The beds were horribly uncomfortable and linens old and worn. Beds were worn out with large slopes to the center. The laundry area smelled of septic/sewer. No A/C. Service at check in was very poor.
THE GOOD:
The location at the resort was nice. The main living area was large. The kitchen was well equipped. Parking was very convenient

Very dark , old and dreary - chose not to stay
This property was a true disappointment and not a place I would ever choose to stay. The entrance told the story. Rotting wood porch with a garden hose strewn across that had to be moved to enter. The washer and dryer were not working and appliances, furniture and bathrooms were extremely old and worn. The carpet was stained and needed replacing. Towels were mismatched and worn. Nothing seemed tended to or inviting. When we expressed our disappointment to the rental management company, they showed us some very nice condos that we could move to, not mentioning that they were $50 more per night. Only when we agreed to move did they tell us it would be more. Very disappointing, and our first VRBO disaster. A sad end to an otherwise wonderful vacation.

I'm sorry to hear about your experience in Mountain House. It is an older property that could use some updates and attention but we attempt to price it accordingly and work with the owner to address upgrades. As for the experience at the front desk and the option to move, I'm disappointed that the options were handled in the way that you've outlined and will work with our staff to better communicate with our guests.
