Harbor Village is truly a unique one-of-a kind jewel on Cape Cod. It is a quiet, secluded compound of 21 Cape style cottages on a 17-acre private parcel studded with pine trees, and a private sandy path leading to two ocean beaches. We are located on the south shore of Cape Cod at the edge of Hyannis Port, within walking distance of the Kennedy compound. If you follow of our footpath to the beach, there are also sidewalks on Ocean Ave and Sea Street that go all the way to historic Main Street in Hyannis.
Harbor Village is the perfect location for your Cape Cod vacation. There is no other place on the Cape that has the quiet solitude of Harbor Village, while also providing the excitement of all of Cape Cod’s attractions nearby. The Cape Cod Melody Tent, and Historic Main Street in downtown Hyannis with shops, restaurants and pubs, are less than a mile away. Take the ferries to Nantucket and Martha's Vineyard from Hyannis Harbor, one mile from our Harbor Village entrance.
Hyannis is considered to be "The Capital" of Cape Cod. If you stay for a week in any other town on the Cape, you will find yourself driving in Cape traffic to Hyannis nearly every day of your vacation, because Hyannis is where all of the action is, and it has some of the best beaches in Massachusetts.
If you stay at Harbor Village once, we are sure you will want to come back year after year. Some of our guests have been coming to Harbor Village for over 40 years!
IF YOU ARE BRINGING YOUR DOG: Your dog is welcome at Harbor Village and there is a pet fee assessed during the booking process. Please remember to include your dog in your booking request. Indicate that you are bringing a dog by selecting the number of pets in the "Guests" field during the search or booking process. Thank You!

They had everything you could possibly need, from a lobster pot over binoculars to shell ID books. But the best thing was the sunny living room and porch. Great olace to explore and relax!
Did not use the kitchen. But it was fully equipped, including a grill on the deck.

Unfortunately Lillian visited us during a big Nor-easter and it poured rain for the entire 2 days and nights of her stay. I am confident Lillian would have enjoyed her stay a lot more if the weather was better. I hope she visits us again.
We were very pleased with our stay. The cottage was extra clean, Shirley was a very responsive hostess. The location was perfect for what we were looking to do…a little shopping, a lot of eating and a few walks on the beach.
Great little village of cottages in super quiet cul-de-sac. Walk to the beach! Spent an extra-long weekend with Mom and Sis in May '23. Explored the Cape from Provincetown to Chatham to Hyannis. Lots of shops and restaurants (The Daily Paper breakfast, yum!) and also took in a play at Barnstable Comedy Club. Commodore Sinclair cottage was super clean with a nice deck out back, perfect for watching ospreys, egrets, herons and more. Property management team onsite (thank you, Shirley, for providing beach chairs). We'll be back!

Very nice but mix up at check in.
We arrived after the ofgice was closed. Our house had no sheets and towels andxwas clearly not ready. Unable to reach managers at the listed phone numbers. They were not expecting us even tho i had my confirmation info. We ginally connected and they got the house ready for us.
After that it was lovely. We especially liked the arrangement of the house that allowed for maximum privacy.
property is as described. very clean, furniture and beds were very comfortable. I usually get backaches from sleeping in other beds and sitting in crappy furniture on vacation but it didn’t happen here. bed was perfect.
great deck, perfection location to the beach with a really nice path through nature, close enough to main street. my daughter walked there for breakfast very morning. property has everything you need for cooking, grilling and more. books, games, beach stuff.
only one negative and it has nothing to do with the property: the amount of algae on the beach and in the water. I had no idea and i guess i’m just used to the NJ and DE beaches !
Harbor Village is super cute and quiet! This cottage was very clean, w/a fully stocked kitchen, washer/dryer, and two full baths. The King bed was very comfy! Would be great if the King bed was in the back bedroom as it's a bigger room and has a bathroom across the hall and it can all be shut off from the rest of the house like a master suite, but we still got a great night's sleep. The deck was huge and had a view of the ocean where you could see the ships go by while having your coffee or cocktail! My Maltese loved it, and it was fenced in w/a gate blocking the steps. The grill worked great for lunches/dinners.The beach was only a 5–6-min walk from the cottage which was great. A short path takes you right to it and you have 2 beaches to choose from. Both were very clean and quiet. The office has all the beach chairs, beach towels, sheets and house towels that you need so you don't have to lug all that with you. Central air was great to have as well as two large doors off the LR that open to the deck. Screens in at least one of these doors would be perfect especially at night, but that did not deter us from opening them and getting that fresh ocean breeze! Luckily, we did not end up with many bugs. We visited downtown a few times (literally 1 mile away with plenty of parking if you drive). Lots of shopping and restaurants to choose from!! Scott and his wife at the office were very pleasant and welcoming. We hope to get back there again next year; it was really hard to leave!
Me and My girlfriend and dog had a wonderful stay. We walked to the beach daily, walked to the ferry to Nantucket so we didn’t have to pay for parking. A few nights even walked to downtown Hyannis. This place is fantastic great little cabin in a very peaceful setting where you are close to everything but at night you get to come to a quiet private setting with turkeys and other wildlife loafing about. Was a great place to bring the dog, and was a perfect way to do all things Cape Cod. Will be recommending to family and friends for a place to stay!
The layout was perfect for my sister and I. We each has a bedroom and a bathroom on separate sides of the cottage. The location was a short 5-7 minute drive to everything (beach, restaurants, etc.)
We had a wonderful stay at this property. The pictures are accurate; it was clean, comfortable and a terrific location to areas of Hyannis. We thoroughly enjoyed our time and would recommend Harbor Village rentals.
This was such a wonderful experience from booking to checkout! Thank you a million Shirley! We can’t wait to come back and stay longer. Hope to see you next year. Stay well and thanks again!
Property is a lovely cape cod cottage. Nicely decorated and well stocked with everything we needed. Well located on the cape near the National Sea Shore. Would definitely recommend.

We spoke several times and none of this was ever brought to our attention.
We pride ourselves on the cleanliness of our houses. The stay was for 2 weeks
And the Saturday in between clean was offered but refused.
This review is very troubling .
Location was the best! A ten minute walk to 2 beaches. We had a view of the bay from our deck! We could spend the day in Hyannis or go out and explore what was around us. The whole cape was within an hour. The property manager gave us a tour, suggested restaurants, and was right there for any needs. We brought our dog and she didn't want to leave. The cottage was cozy and perfect for our family. My father had his bedroom and bathroom on one side of the house and we had ours on the other side. The cottage was very clean and was stocked with anything we needed. I would return to our cottage in a heartbeat. We loved it!
This house was super cute, in a very convenient location, and dog friendly! Had everything we needed and the walk to the beach was short and beautiful. Definitely would stay here again!
