I was surprised at the lower level place being so spacious and quiet. Sitting in the jacuzzi is very private and woodsy. The owners had plenty of towels and kitchen items. We didn’t need to bring extras to stay here. This place is a must stay and we plan to come stay here again. This area is great to come visit. The previous storms and flooding have not affected this area. Come visit Asheville and stay here. There is a liquor store, grocery stores, and food within 2 miles. Downtown only minutes away and lots to do!
We enjoyed our weekend getaway. The accommodations were excellent and comfortable. The apartment was well stocked and private. It is conveniently located if you want to go shopping in Asheville and access fine dining, etc.
Event in ashville, wanted a nice place to come and socialize with friends and be able to fully enjoy my stay... they met all of my needs and would come back
Everything with the accommodations were perfect! Large roomy area inside, and a wonderful outside deck to enjoy the beautiful surroundings. The house is on a sloping lot, so you walk down several nicely landscaped steps to the basement rental area. We felt like there was no one around but us.
My husband and I were really comfortable here. The space was so cozy. Everything was ready to use, and the host was easy to reach and quick to respond. We really had a lovely time and the privacy was well worth it.
Great location and quiet. Just minutes to downtown Asheville via the interstate or a more scenic drive via a state road, but felt like it was farther out in the countryside because it was so quiet. Clean and had everything anyone could need for a quiet weekend away, but also close to the city, and every imaginable outdoor activity. Even got lucky and saw a bear, wild turkeys, and deer! Thanks for a great stay!
Chose an amazing weekend with falling multi-colored leaves. We sat out on the deck with our cups of coffee soaking it in. Private, quiet, perfect! The jacuzzi was just the right size for two adults. Great to lounge in after a fun hike. Thank you for a nice, much needed, relaxing mini-vacation!
We thoroughly enjoyed our stay, especially our nightly hot tub, wonderfully private on the deck surrounded by the woods. The unit was was well-equipped, clean, and very spacious. The only issue was that the unit (downstairs from the owner's space) did not have it's own themostat, so it was often too cold and challenging to maintain a comfortable temp despite Ashley's cooperative efforts. But we adjusted and appreciated all the other great aspects of our stay.
We didn't want to leave! This home was exactly as advertised. Very clean and properly stocked with items in kitchen, extra towels, pillows. etc. Bed in the master was comfortable and the extra space heaters/fireplace made it extra cozy. It was in a cute, quiet neighborhood with a nice views and only 10 mins to downtown! Loved the hot tub & outdoor seating as well
Definitely will be back for our next weekend getaway - thank you Ashley!!
I can’t say enough about this place! it was all the little details that meant a lot. We forgot our coffee and sugar and creamer and it was in cabinet. Even tea if thats what you like. Spice rack, even left a box of popcorn on microwave. Electric fireplace helped so much. We enjoyed the hot tub :) Definitely will stay again, we fell in love with the area. Can’t wait to come back!
This was my first trip to Asheville, and also my first time not staying in a hotel. I wasn't really sure what to expect, but once we arrived, I was blown away! The home was very clean and spacious, the deck provided a great outdoor space, and the hot tub was pretty nice too! The location was perfect as well, as we didn't want to be in town, but didn't want a long commute either, so our 10-15 minute drive to DT Asheville was just right.
Ashley was an exceptional host, and I feel like that is an understatement! Her communication was superb from start to finish, and always responded to my questions very quickly. She even provided a dummy-proof guidebook for everything in the house, which was a very nice touch. Not knowing what to expect regarding kitchenware, we brought everything we thought we would need, but ultimately forgot a few items, such as cooking spray, etc. Ashely, however, was way ahead of us! Everything we could possibly need was already there, which saved my butt as I started making breakfast and realized I wasn't as prepared as I'd hoped.
I cannot recommend Ashley, and this home, high enough! If you're thinking about a trip to Asheville, THIS is the place to stay! We will definitely be going back.
