We enjoyed to atay at this appartment

My husband and I stayed at this appartment for a week. Owner of the appartment - Patricia was very nice, she immediatly answered all our questions we had. Location is excellent, right on the beach. We enjoyed staying there and hope to be back.

Nice Property and Area

Property was very clean. Views of the beach was nice. Very nice neighborhood and the people around. Check-in process was a little confusing initially, but we got it. Extra space like a shelf for personal items in the bathroom would be more convenient. I would recommend this property to others.

The beach was great and access to the beach was great. Condo was older and worn out.

Renting process was easy. Condo was old and worn out. An old Mr. Coffee, scolding hot water and 1980 stove top were usable but cumbersome.

Great location for the price!

The location on the beach and 2 miles from Hollywood Broadwalk, near the airport and I95 was excellent. The condo was not updated but was nice and was very well supplied in the kitchen. An extra roll of toilet paper would have been nice. We had a few problems, such as the condo above us doing construction and a window blind that broke but the property manager and owner were extremely responsive and helpful to remedy the situations. Nice pool and beach, reasonably priced, convenient parking. Overall a great place to stay

Don’t stay here

Condo was run down and needs some major tlc. The property grounds are beautiful so this condo seemed out of place. Bad storm caused a major leak in the bedroom window that required 7 beach towels to clean up, but leaked and dripped all night. Owner promised a credit of 2 nights which we still have not seen. Don’t stay here.

Great clean condo right on the beach

We stayed at the condo for a week with two small children (ages 6 and 4). We rent through VRBO all the time throughout the country and this unit was one of the cleanest. This is our second time at the Tides. Sheets, pillows smelled nice an clean, plenty of towels and beach towels, kitchen well stocked, plenty of hot water in the shower. AC works really well. Drip coffee maker and Nespresso coffee maker in the kitchen. We did not turn on the TV and never had to use WiFi, but they have it in the unit. Like other reviewers mentioned, the bed in the bedroom is actually 2 beds pulled together- so the middle of the bed is not comfortable if you tend to roll around. The ocean has been beautiful this week in August with minimal seaweed and small waves. Every morning we spent at the beach and afternoon at the pool. If you are visiting the area with kids- Highly recommend ZooMiami and Miami Children’s Museum for a nice day trip to break the beach routine. Both are just a short drive away. On the check out day, Patricia let us stay till 4 pm, which was so nice since my kiddos could take a nice nap before our evening flight back home!! Thank you Patricia!! Overall, we loved our stay!!!

Lovely stay! Clean bright apartment. Quick elevators. Friendly staff. Thought there would be more to do/more action/nightlife in walking distance. A/C worked great if a little noisy, as big buildings are in general. Everything worked perfectly but the bathroom and kitchen are a bit dated. I would go back.

Beautifull Hollywood beach

Overall, everything was perfect!!!. A small table on the balcony would have been appreciated. The washing and drying machines card fees should be included in the renting price.

Great for those who are looking for a quiet stay

Overall stay was nice, has everything you needed for the beach such a chair’s, umbrella.. etc. Check-in was a little hectic and wish additional fee’s were told in the beginning rather than day’s before. $100 parking, $20 refundable parking pass… $30 for key fob. You can’t actually park until you buy the parking pass.I feel like the fee’s should be stated in the stay details. There was a noise monitor which was kind of weird, we received a call that there was possibly too much loud noise but it was just the sound coming from the tv.

Nickel and Dime

The condo was clean and one the beach. I pulled in and paid $100 to park on property. I then had to give my drivers license to use a luggage cart. I was then locked out of the doors because I did not have a fob. I was locked out of the door to the elevator because I did not have a fob. I could not use the elevator because I did not have a fob. I checked in after 5:00 p.m. so I could not get a fob until the next morning. No one told me this. I was contacted all day as we drove in my text about checking in. I called the contact telephone number 1 hour before arrival and was told someone would meet me there. No one met me to check into the property I was just given a code to the door. The next morning I went down to the main office to get the fob, I had to pay $30 non refundable to get the fob. I then was asked for $20 cash to get the parking tag that was refundable as we checked out. I already paid $100 to park. We then had to wear red bracelets to be on the property (pool I guess). We had to use the fob to walk down to the beach and back up and to all of the doors and elevator. We have 4 people and only bought one fob. When someone would move about the property the rest of us were stuck waiting till they came back to move about. My teenage boys wanted to play ping pong and pool. We were told they were ping used but come back with my license to get ping pong paddles and pool sticks for the common room. We cam back an hour later and were told they could not play after 8:00 p.m.
