June 2023 visit

We really enjoyed our stay at this newly updated cottage home. The property was clean and well maintained and in a good location, close to the downtown area and great proximity to the lake.

Nice home

A very nice house in a good area. Communication with the homeowner was very good. The beds are very comfortable and the kitchen was well stocked. They had coffee and filters and snacks waiting on us which we appreciated very much. Overall it was a good experience for us. We were in town visiting family and it met all our needs.

This was a lovely home that offered 3 bedrooms, spacious basement, and nice living area for our party of 5. The area was quiet and far enough away from the business of Muskegon to feel serene, while having convenience of not being too far. The living room window is BEAUTIFUL! The view was fantastic. Improvements recommendations are as follows - provide towels & dishcloths for the kitchen. Having to clean up everything with paper towels was not practical. Also we only had 1 washcloth in the entire house. The single knife provided was broken. Some additional seating options in the living room, such as another chair and ottoman, would have been preferred. Our party of 5 struggled to sit comfortably on the 3 person couch and one rocking chair. At least one person always had to sit on the wooden bench or stool. An additional comfort “extra” of a throw or blankets in the bedrooms and living room would have been nice. The evening presented us with a chill. As a final touch having Kleenex available would be nice.
