Spectacular views surround you when you enter this exquisite home in the Pointe West community. This bayside house has views of West Bay, the Gulf of Mexico and is located on the community fishing pond. "Make Waves" is a short distance to the Lazy River Pool, The Beach Club and well-groomed beaches in the community.
This home is perfect for a multi-family getaway or business retreat. There are four bedrooms with private bathrooms on the first floor. The second floor is a fabulous open floor plan to gather for meals, meetings, board games, and relaxing. Four large private balcony porches bookend each floor to relax and take in the fantastic views of the West End of Galveston Island.
The ground floor has seating and a charcoal grill for the guest to use during their stay. The outdoor shower is ideal for washing off the sand from a day at the beach or fishing/kayaking/or paddle boarding on the bay. The driveway has plenty of parking for the guest in this home.
This location is ideal for a golf cart to travel around the community, but it is not necessary as there is plenty of parking at the pools and beach access areas.

The Pointe West Community is secluded and is the perfect quiet beach getaway.
A short 30-minute drive puts you in the center of historic Galveston. You can tour mansions, walk The Strand, see the cruise ships arrive and depart, go to The Pier amusement park and so much more!

WRISTBAND POLICY
The Property Owners Association (POA) at Pointe West collects a wristband fee of $25 per guest for each guest over the age of 4 (children younger than 4 do not pay) for use of the Beach Club and Sunset Pools during your stay at Pointe West. No wristbands are required to enjoy the beautiful beaches at Pointe West this fee is only for use of pools, fitness center, and other amenities. A reservation has been made in your name for your rental period at Pointe West. The wristbands are available at the Beach Club reception every day during business hours (9-5 off season, 9-6 peak season). The physical address for the Beach Club is 4161 Pointe West Drive, Galveston, TX. 77554. You do not have to purchase a wristband to enjoy the restaurant/bar at Pointe West. Your reservation will allow you to receive a temporary band to enjoy this business amenity.

AFTER LABOR DAY UNTIL OCTOBER 30, RESTAURANT IS CLOSED ON MONDAY AND TUESDAY

THE RESTAURANT AND GIFT SHOP ARE CLOSED FROM NOVEMBER 1-MARCH 1 EVERY YEAR
FITNESS CENTER, GAME ROOM AND POOLS ARE OPEN YEAR ROUND

THE SUNSET POOL ON THE BAYSIDE OF POINTE WEST IS HEATED FOR YOUR ENJOYMENT YEAR-ROUND. THE BEACH CLUB POOL IS NOT HEATED AS IT IS IMPOSSIBLE TO KEEP AN INFINITY POOL WARM. BOTH POOLS HAVE LARGE HOT TUBS FOR YOUR ENJOYMENT.

Beautiful House!

We really enjoyed our stay at this property! The property manager was extremely helpful during our stay. The location was excellent. We had two families with multiple children ranging from 12-18, and everyone had a great time. The house was equipped with everything that we needed for our stay. The weather didn't quite cooperate with us, but the house had plenty of board games to keep us entertained. We will definitely be returning in the summer.

Beautiful home!

We really enjoyed our stay. The home was huge!!!!! With absolutely everything we needed. Great quality appliances and cookware. Ice machine was so handy in filling our cooler. We have 3 small families come together under 1 roof and never felt on top of each other. Plenty of seating in every room. Would absolutely recommend to friends and family.

Not Long Enough

Because of the coming hurricane, we were forced to leave after 3 nights. Our group of ten, including 3 teenagers, enjoyed the spacious house, the large, well-appointed kitchen, ample comfortable seating in the living areas, and a table with enough chairs for our entire group to eat and play games together. The bedding was comfy and there were enough bathrooms! Some spent time on the decks and others enjoyed the pools and beach access. Hopefully next time we can enjoy the other Pointe West amenities. Thanks for always being available and providing a few extras in the welcome basket.

Beautiful home

This home was perfect for our beach getaway. This is a beautiful home, with an exceptional layout. The top floor is the entertainment area and could accommodate many people. We had 9 but there was seating available for double. This is so nice because some of the other homes we’ve stayed in felt a bit cramped if everyone wanted to be together. This property is spacious. My husband enjoyed the 2 desks where he could perch and work a little. We also really enjoyed the patio facing south. Comfortable seating and again, spacious. The kitchen was fully stocked and had everything we needed, including an ice maker. That was a very nice perk, given we always need ice at the beach. The rooms are exactly as described with comfortable beds. We will definitely be back.
