The house is nestled on a dead-end road on a large lot with a privacy fence and over 100 feet of lakefront. The space
The large double lot with a tall wooden privacy fence surrounding most of the property makes it comfortable to relax and enjoy the views of the water while soaking up the sun or watching your children play on the play set. The backyard also boasts a large deck with outdoor furniture and a charcoal grill. There is also a deck on the water's edge that leads to the dock and boat hoist which is to be installed in the spring and removed in the fall.

The large chef's kitchen is sure to impress as we turned this old living space into a dream lakefront kitchen with a commercial 48" 9 burner stove top with a double oven. You will find more than enough seating around the custom-made maple 4'x9' island along with the separate dining table. This space also has a mini fridge for wine and a separate mini fridge for cans. There is a dishwasher and basic cooking amenities. We also added a very large pantry which is located right next to the stocked coffee bar. The kitchen also has a mounted tv.

The living room has a large couch and coffee table facing the television and electric fireplace. There is a bath with a shower off the living room for the guests who stay on the first floor.

There is a queen suite off the first-floor hall with a dresser and a tv.

Off the hall is also a private quiet office for those needing to get some work done. The office also has a futon that folds down into a full bed.

On the same side of the hallway as the office is the laundry/mudroom with a free washer with provided detergent, dryer, and coat hooks.

The second floor is home to our king primary suite with a dresser and his and her closets. This room also has a tv with a private door to the full bathroom with a tub/shower combo. There is another large bedroom where we have added two twin beds and two smaller dressers. This room also has a large closet to hang clothing.

We provide 1 canoe and 2 kayaks with some life jackets. They hang on our back deck.
There is a fire ring overlooking the water where fires are allowed. Just abide by the local burn laws and also no burning of trash.
Other things to note
Oneida Lake is full of some amazing history. There are plenty of places to explore. The famous Erie Canal with a museum in downtown Syracuse. Check out Fort Brewerton just minutes from the house and just down the road from that there is a lighthouse with a picnic area. Across the lake from our house is a very nice and clean park Oneida Shores where you can find a boat launch, beach, playground, and picnic areas. Not to be ignored is the amazing fish population with an estimation of over 1 million walleye stated in 2022. The perch and bass fishing is also famous with a professional bass tournament held here some years. Amazing Fishing Trip
As avid anglers, my friends and I recently booked this VRBO property on Oneida Lake for a fishing trip, and it exceeded all our expectations. The location was perfect, with plenty of room for our two boats to dock comfortably. The highlight of our trip was the incredible fishing experience. We were thrilled to catch some truly impressive fish right off the dock! The smallmouth bass were giants, and we also reeled in some pike, pickerel, largemouth bass, and even a few giant drum. The fishing opportunities were abundant and diverse, providing us with hours of excitement and friendly competition among friends. The house itself was immaculate and well-maintained, with a fully stocked kitchen that allowed us to cook up our catches after a successful day on the water. The comfortable beds ensured we got a good night's sleep and were well-rested for another day of fishing. The views from the back deck were stunning, overlooking the protected bay of Oneida Lake. We enjoyed many moments just soaking in the picturesque scenery and observing the local wildlife. The owners of the property were accommodating and responsive, making our stay hassle-free and enjoyable. Having enough space for both of our boats was a huge plus, and we appreciated the attention to detail in ensuring the property was well-equipped for fishing enthusiasts like us. In conclusion, this VRBO property on Oneida Lake provided us with an unforgettable fishing experience. From the spacious and clean house to the amazing fishing opportunities right off the dock, it was a fishing paradise for us. I highly recommend this property to any fishing enthusiasts looking for a fantastic getaway. We can't wait to return and make more fishing memories!

Great House and Location for Fishing
Just returned home from a week long fishing trip with 5 other guys. The house was fantastic and very comfortable for everyone. We had 3 boats and 3 trucks. There was room to park all trucks and trailers which was great. The house was stocked well with all amenities you may need. The kitchen is huge and could easily accommodate all of us around the massive center island. The family room was great for watching football. Check it out for your next vacation.

Amazing!!!
The property is hands down one of the best houses I've stayed in on the lake. The posted pictures don't do it justice. The house is turn-key, even providing food seasoning in the pantry. Comfortable beds and furniture with clean linens. The yard is large and includes a kids swing set along with outdoor activities. The property is well worth the price and I will be returning!

Nice house on the lake
Overall the property has a great number of amenities, we didn't use very many as we were mostly staying there to sleep and visit family. My just under 2 year old daughter enjoyed the playset in the backyard. Property was clean, and we appreciated the ability to use the washer and dryer. The property owner is very responsive in the Vrbo app for the minor issues we had (Vrbo app directed us to the wrong address, not the owners fault). The property however needs better window coverings in the bedrooms, in particular the sun would shine on your face in the morning in the master bedroom, and the first floor bedroom with the queen doesn't have a cover on one window facing the street. The front door lock was a bit of a pain as it locked within 30 seconds of opening and the code was a bit long and hard for my technology challenged parents, but those were minor issues. Thanks again for having us.

Great, comfortable stay
Easy booking, good communication. No problems at all. The house was as described and very comfortable. The kitchen had everything needed as far as cooking utensils, pots, pans, toaster, blender, waffle maker, etc. The yard was large and patio great for sitting out. We loved the abundance of chairs and space for entertaining; we were visiting family and hosted a large group with ease. The weather wasn't great for us, so we didn’t get to use the kayaks or canoe, but it would have been nice to do so and was definitely a great perk to have these included with the rental. The location was great and very convenient to shopping and restaurants. My teens only complaint was that there were not window coverings to keep the rooms dark. I, personally, am an early bird, so no problem here! We would definitely return here in our next visit to the Syracuse area.

My wife graduated from law school at Syracuse University and we decided with our love for the water we would move to Oneida lake. As I was a journeyman plumber we decided to completely remodel the first floor over the next few years. We wanted to give ourselves a more open-concept home with a large waterfront kitchen. We came across a perfect opportunity to pack up our kids and travel the country for an extended period of time while sharing our home with others!
