wedding weekend

We really enjoyed our stay at this home! We were in town for a wedding close by and it was perfect for our family of 6! Everything was just as described and the view was beautiful! It was very clean and the kitchen was well stocked. We would definitely stay here again!

Long weekend get away

My wife and I came for the long holiday weekend. We loved the views from the multiple decks, and the quiet neighborhood. It was close proximity to the W Kerr Scott Reservoir and Rocky Face Mountain Park, where we enjoyed biking, paddle boarding and hiking. The house was well furnished and provided a great way to relax at the end of the day. We would definitely stay here again.

The sweetest house!

What a gem! We loved this house! It was immaculately clean, perfectly laid out for our small family, had great views of the mountains, and was well set up for small (but meaningful!) luxuries that one craves when they go away! The hot tub with towel warmer was such a nice bonus. My kids loved the fire pit for making s’mores, and the owner even left out the starter wood and a lighter for us. There were games to play, books to read, a new deck overlooking the mountains, sweet smelling, soaps and lotions with soft towels. The beds were comfortable, and the layout of the rooms were great for a family with two kids (with an extra room for an additional couple or kid). The owner was super easy to work with and was flexible and accommodating. My kids have already asked to return! We hope to come again someday!

Beautiful views!

Very comfy stay in the NC mountains for a family of four during the week of Thanksgiving in support of our App State student. Amazing views and all support amenities we could ask. All had a great time away with home-cooked food.

Adorable Cottage

This mountain cottage was perfect for my niece and now nephew on their wedding night. I will definitely keep this place in mind for a future getaway for mybhusband and myself in the future!

Clean and perfect little getaway

Clean house as described. Beautiful view off the three decks. Hot tub, grill, and firepit we barely had time to enjoy but will definitely consider staying here again when we are back in the area. Nice property. Good communication with owner.

Great Anniversary Getaway

We celebrated our 33rd anniversary here and it was very peaceful and quiet. Just what we were looking for! The house was perfect with lots of room and had everything we needed for the weekend. The hot tub was a great plus :)

Very comfortable home and accommodating for children. Blankets, games, additional seating and pack n play were much appreciated for family time. extra supplies and everything provided needed for cooking cleaning etc.

Cute & Tidy Mountain Cabin

The cabin was cute and tidy and we enjoyed our stay. It is at the top of a steep winding road. Not a problem for us since we have a 4WD. We didn’t get to enjoy the mountain views which would have been wonderful if it hadn’t been foggy and rainy for most of our stay. Overall very pleasant lodging experience.
