We appreciate your kind comments about the home, its comfort, and its location. However, we respectfully disagree with your account of the damage reported after your stay. The damage to the drywall was photographed the morning after your departure, before anyone else had entered the home. We shared the photograph with you promptly because we wanted to understand what had happened. We were not seeking monetary compensation; we simply wanted clarification regarding the damage discovered after your stay. Throughout our long history of hosting, we have hosted many wonderful guests and received consistently positive reviews. We have never experienced damage of this nature before, and we take great pride in maintaining our home for the comfort and enjoyment of all guests. While we understand that being contacted about damage may be unpleasant, our communication was made in good faith, based on the home's condition after your departure. Our intention was not to create an unpleasant experience, but simply to understand the circumstances.
