About this property

The Farmhouse Retreat is located just 5 1/2 miles east of downtown Fredericksburg on US Hwy 290 right in the middle of a number of special destination points. The House is approximately 1,500 square feet in size. The floor plan includes a living room, full size kitchen and appliances and kitchenware, two bedrooms (Two King beds) with closets, and 1.5 bathrooms. Nice size flat panel smart TV in the Livingroom so you can stretch out and relax. The House has a front and back covered porch with rocking chairs for full relaxation hill country views and for watching the wildlife for your relaxation and enjoyment.

We have two wineries located at the front of the property, Los Pinos Ranch Vineyards & Wedding Oak Winery and a winery located next door which is Barons Creek Vineyards. The Altstadt Brewery is located directly across the Hwy from the property as well. Luckenbach, Texas is just 5 miles from the Cabin on RR 1376 which features their historic Post Office, General Store, band stand and dance hall. Music is such a huge part of the Hill Country culture that one whole town is dedicated to it.

Lovely, comfortable home in a perfect location

Our group all enjoyed our stay here, especially the location. Convenient to everything Fredericksburg offers--wineries, restaurants, museums, wildflowers, and this year, the total solar eclipse! We especially enjoyed visiting and grilling in the outdoor areas. The house is beautiful indoors and out, and perfect for two couples.

Our new go-to place for a staycation!

The property was great! We live in Kerrville, so it was a quick 30 minute trip to the property. The house was as advertised and very clean. The bed was super comfortable.The house was perfect to host our friends (who were staying next door in the cabins) and bbq out back and enjoy the large porch! I particularly was happy that the host provided bathroom "incidentals" like lotions, shampoo and soap. The location is great and just a short drive to the wineries. I would recommend the farmhouse for sure! We'll be back!
