About this property

This sunny studio has a small private balcony with city views. The kitchen is separate from living room / sleeping area, has a arge walk-in closet, tub shower bathroom - comfortable for short/long stays. This NO PET (or other animals) suite is on the ground floor in a cosy, private courtyard setting with faux foliage/grass. Washer/dryer & ample parking on site although you don't need a car here! With a walk score of 94 this is perfect for executives, business travelers, couples or small family.
The space
This studio is spacious and welcoming, having everything that a single person or couple needs while in San Diego, whether you're here for business or pleasure. We have replaced the full-sized bed with an IKEA Queen inc. brand new mattress (Sept 2018). The private bathroom has a tub/shower, toilet & vanity sink. The French doors open to your own balcony which is a great place to see the city views and the world go by with a coffee in your hand. The living area has a lovely couch and coffee table while the well-equipped kitchen can be used to make your own meals or to sit and enjoy something delivered! For the safety of our other residents, we do not allow PETS or other animals on the property.
Guest access
Guests access through the front security gate, into a raised courtyard area and the suite is on the right. Guests will enter through their own private front door after opening the dead-bolt and door handle lock. You have exclusive access to the entire suite.
Other things to note
PETS (or other animals) are NOT permitted. No smoking - means no smoking of ANY kind ANY where on the premises. This includes e-cigs, cigars, vaporizers, hookahs etc. You will forfeit the deposit and be asked to leave the premises. If you see anyone with an animal, smoking or are being affected by someone with an animal, smoking/vaping etc., please notify us as soon as possible. Please don't turn up with or invite other guests that are not accounted for on the reservation. These things break our house rules & the owner may have Airbnb cancel the booking with no refunds and you will be asked to leave the premises. We also have several external cameras for our guest's security and our peace of mind as hosts which we use to clarify any issues with respect to guest safety and/or house rules.

Cozy and comfy

This location was great for my friend and I to stay at as we were there for an event. It was walking distance to some small grocery stores and restaurants, plus it was about 5-7 bucks to take Lyft or Uber into the Gaslamp Quarter/Downtown San Diego area and very close to the airport distance wise. The room was clean and the fridge made it easy for us to store water bottles and snacks for our trip. The one concern (that didn't impact me or my friend) is that you can hear airplanes flying overhead. But if you're a heavy sleeper, this doesn't impact you at all. But if you're a light sleeper, it would be recommended to bring earplugs. We wouldn't definitely stay again!

This secure little hide-away is walking distance to Balboa Park, Zoo, Waterfront Park, USS Midway & Little Italy (with all it's great restaurants & nightlife). A little further afield is the downtown Gas Lamp area & the Convention Center. We are very close for access the airport or the I-5; south to Coronado, Tajuana (Mexico), or north to Pacific Beach, Mission Bay, La Jolla, Torrey Pines etc..
