Great experience at Pumpkin Ridge for an extended family weekend get together. Plenty of space to fit two families and my mother in law. We spent our evenings gathered around the table in the Barn or at the fire pit. The host even had a bouquet of flowers waiting for my mother in law (her birthday celebration) which was very sweet. It’s a great rental option if you want privacy as well as your own space since it’s two separate rentals in one!

The cabin was super clean and well kept. It had everything we needed—plenty of utensils, cups, and plates—which made things really convenient. The fire pit was great to relax around, and the trail nearby was a cool bonus to explore. The hot tubs were also very clean and enjoyable. On top of that, the owner was amazing—super helpful and easy to communicate with throughout the stay. Definitely would come back!

Host was super easy to get connected with when we had a need, and the property was amazing. We really enjoyed having separate spaces for the family members. We didn't get a chance to walk the trails, but the property seemed awesome! Super clean upon arrival. The only suggestion I would make would be to have more towels available to guests if possible. :) A washer and dryer would be an awesome addition as well. Thanks for a great stay!

The two spaces were perfect for our adult family of 8! The stable was great for playing games, pool table and watching basketball on the large tv while it rained. The Barn was great for our family meals and for those who wished to go to bed earlier. Much thought and care was put into the beautiful decor and making sure guests had everything they needed. Communication was great too!

Perfect girls getaway

This was such a wonderful place to stay while we enjoyed good food, relaxation, and good company. The hot tubs, sauna, fireplace, pool table, fuly stocked kitchen, and serene setting made our weekend feel like a retreat.

Absolutely stunning property!

Our visit was beyond our expectations. This property is absolutely breathtaking, from the preserve, wildlife, location- the description just does not describe the atmosphere and beauty. We will definitely book here again!

Pumpkin Ridge is a beautiful property, very roomy and comfortable for our gathering family of 12. Having two dwellings was awesome and spacious. We enjoyed quiet relaxation, hiking trails , the hot tub and sitting around the fire. Also enjoyed nearby fishing at Lake Hope, Cedar Falls, Old Mans Cave, a visit to Muddy Boots Farm and the Rock House. Great location and within driving distance of activities. We had a wonderful time and look forward to visiting again.

Place is fully equipped with everything we needed , very clean and organized, plenty space for the kids , everyone loved it and we all had fun cooking doing outdoor activities and have quality family time, we definitely going back soon .

Parking was easy. We did not use the fireplace as it was very warm during our visit. The cabins were both clean. The hot tub by the stable we did not use at all, however the hot tub attached to the main house we had to spend a day with the chemicals to get it balanced so that we could use it. The kitchen in the main house was wonderful- especially because we cooked every meal. My only comment would be that it would be nice if there were more than just the one baking sheet. However, I do realize that not everyone cooks on vacation like we did.

Couldn’t have been happier with the property and cabins. The environment provided for a great experience. Must say the sauna was a nice touch to help relax.
