The Avalón Villa is next door to Bellâ Casa ~ both are newly acquired and join our CutAboveCabins family. The Avalón Villa has 4 Bedrooms + sleeping areas + 3 bathrooms. The Great Room with gas fireplace opens up to the dining room and fully appointed kitchen with a dishwasher and 2 refrigerators. Three levels offer privacy and allow for groups to engage in multiple activities as well as conversations. Accommodates up to 10 guests in beds - Max 6 Adults for a maximum of 10 is at least 4 are children under 12. Large Deck. Gas Grill. HOT TUB. No extra charge for Kayaks/Canoes/mountain bikes. Bring your own gear. Swimming area. Fish right off the dock. Rent or bring your own boat. Large green space on the lake. Fire Pit and picnic tables. Game Room. 2,000 sq. ft. EXPLANATION of pricing policies: Increasing guest count increases the nightly rate - The base rate for Avalon Villa includes 2 guests. Additional adults and children are $33/person/night. Maximum occupancy is 10 if at least 2 are children. Additional guests up to the maximum will add to the nightly rate at $33 per person, per night with a minimum of nights equal to the requirements of the booking regardless of the nights stayed. For example: Avalon Villa nightly rate is $299. If you have 2 guests the cost stays at $299. If you have 5 guests, the rate is $299 for the first 2 and an additional $33 for each guest over 2 for a total of $99 added for a total rate of $498 per night. If you have 10 guests the rate is $563 per night. We have this pricing in place so that groups of 2 are not paying the rate of $563 per night that the larger group would pay.

The name and ages of all guests are required on our rental agreement. You may update your guest count prior to check-in, and please make sure it is accurate. The guest count will be verified by staff and we don't want a problem after you have checked in. Please read our rental agreement and understand the penalties.

Christmas is a special season to celebrate with family. We decorate with Christmas trees, Christmas bedspreads, centerpieces, Christmas dishes, and many other small touches that make the cabin totally about Christmas. Jesus is the Reason for the Season. Easter weekend

The house was not only beautiful, it was homey, comfy, well equipped and situated on the bank of Lake Logan. We cooked a full Easter dinner in the large, well equipped kitchen and ate outside on the spacious deck over looking the lake. The bedrooms, and the beds, are large and comfortable. We had 7 adults and 2 children and we were very comfortable. The kids had an Easter egg hunt inside and out!!

Nice winter experience

We went there was 2-4 inches of snow on the ground. A couple small sledding hills right outside. Very charming place inside and the hot tub delivers!

Perfect Home for our Family of Six

In January, we had the pleasure of gathering with our family at Avalon Villa, and our experience left us delighted with both the home and its prime location. The panoramic view of the lake was simply enchanting. The chilly weather prevented us from fully enjoying the back porch but we will enjoy it on our next visit! The immaculate condition of the home was noteworthy, and the well-stocked kitchen added to the overall convenience. Spanning three levels, each equipped with one or two bedrooms and a bathroom, suited our family perfectly. A highlight for us was the expansive sofa and recliner, accommodating everyone comfortably. Additionally, we made the most of the nearby trails for some invigorating hikes. The reliable wifi was a boon, especially considering the lack of connectivity during our drive into Hocking Hills. We are already looking forward to returning in warmer weather to relish the home and its surroundings once again.

Cozy cabin on Lake Logan

We greatly enjoyed the trails, caves and exploring Hocking Hills. It was a fun Thanksgiving family getaway and we loved our time together playing games and telling stories around the fire at Lake Logan.

Great place for our family gathering

We stayed for the weekend for our anniversary and for our son's proposal. The family pictures done on property for the occasion turned out beautifully with the great scenery

We are Mother and daughter; Catherine and Evelyn. We moved to the Hocking Hills in 2006 and have enjoyed the area very much. We started a vacation rental business in 2014 with a one bedroom cabin in the loft of our barn on our lake front property, called Lake Logan Loft. It has been such a wonderful experience over 3 years that we decided to sell our rental business in another part of the state and invest in really special residences that we could share with you! Welcome to our Cut Above Cabins, in the Hocking Hills. We have 3 large Lodges each in secluded wooded areas on several acres each. We also have Château Lake Logan opening in the spring of 2019 which will have 2-one bedroom suites and 2-two bedroom suites. We hope you will choose to stay with us when you plan our vacation to this special area known as the Hocking Hills Region.

Avalón Villa is perfect for families that want to make memories and share a special vacation. It is a lake side home which gives you plenty of room for 2-10. Active families will love the water with it's many activities. Still very close to the hiking trails and all the parks, Old Man's Cave is just 10 miles away. Great dining and bars are just across the lake and family friendly. Come join us on the water for many a great sunset or sunrise. We have 7 acres on the lake for lots of "leg room".
