A great family vacation

A very nice place for a family getaway. The house is very nice and the view of the lake is great. You can fish, launch canoes and kayaks right off the private beach area.

Exactly as advertised!

We really enjoyed our stay at Avalon Villa! The house was exactly as advertised and worked out very well for my wife and I and 2 other couples. Great location. We started our weekend with a pontoon rental from the nearby marina, tubed the Hocking River, did a 5.5 mile hike in the park and had a great dinner at 58 West! The other nights we barbecued at Avalon Villa and enjoyed the hot tub. Capped the weekend of with mass at St. John’s! We will definitely be back!

Stayed with our daughter’s family. House was wonderful! Clean , organized, kitchen had everything you might need . Kids enjoyed fishing in the lake and using all the games and activities provided. Great views , super close to Hocking Hills hikes and attractions. Highly recommend this stay .

The cabin was perfect for our girls 60th birthday getaway. Clean, comfy and cozy. The bed in the upstairs room was SOOO comfortable! Loved having 2 refrigerators and the view of the lake was perfect

We had a small group of all ages, from grandkids to grandparents. The location on the lake was perfect for a quiet weekend of family time, games, and lots of laughter. The house was extremely clean and relaxing. We would go back again!

The home was appointed with everything that was needed. The property is lovely and the home is exceptionally clean. Everything was perfect. We especially enjoyed the large porch as it rained on our weekend everyday all day :( The kids loved the Jeep bed and we appreciated that there are kid sized washing facilities. The kids also loved the shower in the basement and felt as though they were in a spaceship! I would recommend this property.

What an amazing property. I can’t say enough about our stay. The cabin was clean, had everything you needed and more. It is close to the caves, shopping, and entertainment and not to mention the beautiful view on the lake. I definitely recommend staying here if you are planning a trip to Hocking Hills!

Fall Family Getaway

My family and I loved our time at the Avalon Villa. It has plenty of space to spread out but also provides that warm, cozy feeling of a cabin in the woods. The view is extraordinary and the access to kyaks and the lake cannot be beat. We look for to our next trip to Lake Logan / Hocking Hills, and another stay with Cut Above Cabins.

This is a very comfortable house on lake Logan. We had 3 couples and an infant and were very comfortable. The home is very clean, the amenities are very nice quality and well maintained. Great communication with ownership. The host is well organized. We would stay again

This was our family's 4th annual christmas cabin! It was the best one we've done yet- the cabin was perfect! So festive with all the decorations. Cabin itself very well built. All the amenities were very nice and they had everything you could need for an enjoyable stay. We enjoyed and appreciated every small detail they provided. Highly recommend!

We stayed for the weekend for our anniversary and for our son's proposal. The family pictures done on property for the occasion turned out beautifully with the great scenery

Perfect Get Away!

The Avalon Villa was the perfect location and size for our family of 5 adults, I child, and a baby. We loved sitting on the covered porch and watching the pontoon boats and fisherman. It was quiet and peaceful, with a beautiful view of the sunset reflecting on Lake Logan. Our 6 year old grandson loved the car bed, and his 18 year old brother sleep in a queen size bed in the same area. It was perfect because they were close, but had their own separate space, and we didn't have to worry about the younger child being downstairs by himself. The Villa was within a short drive from the Hocking Hills park and hikes, and close to the downtown area -- which had many wonderful restaurants. We loved eating at 58 West. However, the Villa provided a large kitchen area with all of the necessities to cook meals, too.

Cozy cabin on Lake Logan

We greatly enjoyed the trails, caves and exploring Hocking Hills. It was a fun Thanksgiving family getaway and we loved our time together playing games and telling stories around the fire at Lake Logan.

Cabin on the lake

The cabin was spacious and clean. The beds are very comfortable. It has everything you could want for a weekend or a long vacation on the lake.
