The property was beautiful and the cabin was clean. The bed was very comfortable and the food and snacks left was a nice touch. Would only have like to see some nicer seating outside on the porch area. Nice place to stay for fishing and relaxing. Close to Amish country also.

If you're looking for an authentic A-Frame house overlooking a beautifully stocked lake, and total seclusion, then don't hesitate and book this property now! Wildlife, fishing boats available, Kodak moments everywhere you look, you couldn't ask for more. Two of the best host you could find, making sure you are happy and safe, during your visit! Have you pushed the "book button" yet!!!!

Such a beautiful location with great views and atmosphere. A short distance from Sugarcreek and easily accessible form I-77. We will be adding this to our list of getaways to return to!

The host was friendly and readily available. The property was gorgeous and peaceful and the cabin had an outstanding view of the lake. The cabin was clean and comfortable and had many thoughtful amenities. We will definitely stay here again!

You will feel like you are in your own, gorgeous world when you stay here! Our cabin, nestled on a hillside in the woods, looked out on a beautiful lake. The lake was surrounded by high wooded hills. There were docks, paddle boats, pavilions, rowboats, a kayak, even a small beach! We had a delightful time walking the trails through the forests and hills, paddle boating on the lake, jogging on the nearby country roads, and doing work and relaxing down at the picnic shelter by the lake. We were repeatedly amazed at this find-we did not expect this at all. It was so wonderful to simply hear the sounds of breezes-not airplanes, highways, or anything mechanical for that matter. This is a very special place for my wife and I to have a much-needed place to connect and unwind.

The cabin is nice, the location is beautiful! The fishing is great! They have snacks set up for your check in which I have never had. The location is about 20 minutes from most attractions. I will definitely be planning a returning trip. Such a relaxing long weekend!

My husband and I celebrated our 5 year Wedding Anniversary in the A Frame. This couldn't have been more perfect. Very peaceful and quiet. Gorgeous view. Bed was comfortable.Loved the solitude. We really enjoyed fishing in the lake. Doug and Jen were excellent hosts. We will definitely be back!

great little cozy getaway

The A-frame cabin was wonderful - glamping at its finest! The location is set back in a nice location, the surrounding property was nicely kept and there was plenty to do besides relaxing. Would recommend to anyone looking for a secluded getaway :)

This is a very charming and rustic cabin that is nestled in the woods above the lake. It’s quiet and there are abundant wildlife out each window. The host, Doug, is phenomenal and very much attentive to your needs. He personally shows up at check-in just to make sure everything is in order. They even provided eggs, milk, OJ, muffins, and snacks. One thing that is worth noting. There is no AC and it was stifling during the day and tolerable at night. It would be a great place to stay in the cooler months. Overall, we loved it and would come back again

Beautiful & secluded modern cabin.

The cabin and surrounding property are incredible. There's plenty to do for children around the lake as well. We had a fantastic time on our spur-of-the-moment trip. We will definitely be back in the Fall!

Cute Cabin

We had a really nice weekend get away with our family. We appreciated the small touches (muffins, eggs, chips, coffee, etc.), that made us feel very welcome :). The area is beautiful, scenic views and peaceful environment. We would love to go back in the future.

We came for our 31st Anniversary getaway. The A Frame was very inviting and had a beautiful view of the lake and nature. We were greeted with a welcome basket of snacks and breakfast in the fridge. The property was so peaceful and we loved waking up to the birds chirping and the turkeys gobbling. We enjoyed seeing the deer visit twice a day and hiking the trails on the property. Can't wait to go back and stay again

Perfect Fall Getaway

This a-frame was the perfect getaway to destress and unwind. The leaves were in peak season, and the view from the cabin was of the trees and a pond. The cabin itself was cozy, and we enjoyed the wood stove. It was the perfect weekend.
