We enjoyed our stay immensely. Everything thing was so nice and clean. The staff was really accommodating and even give my family a apple pie for Thanksgiving. I would definitely recommend the cabin to my family and friends.

Great cabin feel, yet modern facilities. Just perfectly far enough away from touristy attractions, but close enough to get there anytime of day. Loved the whole experience .

Great cabin for a family getaway

Loved the firepit, pool, and charm of the cabin. Close enough to Saugatuck for evenings out, but removed enough to feel pleasantly disconnected.

Christmas weekend

Family gathering to celebrate Christmas early. The Cabin hideaway was the perfect location. The cabin was beautifully decorated for Christmas. The kids enjoyed the pool. We had a great time and would recommend staying at the Cabin.

We loved the property. The indoor swimming pool was amazing. Plenty of sleeping space. Some areas for improvement include more comfy couches on main floor, new mattress 1st floor br, replace grill, lower toilet not flushing easily, more large coffee mugs and inflate bike tires. Also did not realize pond was not available to us. Maybe missed that info. Anyway great if you could make a deal with neighbor for fishing priviledges!!!!

Memorial Day Getaway

The house is as described. Those who stayed on the second floor commented that it was much warmer in their rooms than the bottom floor. Everyone enjoyed the pool.

Hideaway cabin

We had a wonderful family vacation at Hideaway Cabin. The pool was perfect. Very clean. Having a washer and dryer for a family on vacation is always a plus. Pretty secluded and relaxing. They need better property pictures because it is so much better in person! Yard is also spacious but not shown that way in the pictures.

Great Stay-cation!

We love Saugatuck and we wanted something to rent that we could just relax and hang out. This place was perfect for that! We barely left the house cause everything we needed was there. Our kids loved the pool and while it could use some attention, it was so nice to have all to ourselves! The house is huge and plenty of room to spread out. This would be perfect for 2 families to share. The check in process was so easy and everything went smoothly. Thanks for a great vacation!

The reason we chose this place was the privacy and the indoor pool. But the pool was not cleaned and nobody wanted to get in. I didn't contact the property manager as I didn't want to deal with it, we ended going to the beach. Something I could've done here at my city.

Thank you for sharing your feedback. We’re so glad you chose Hideaway Cabin for its privacy and the unique indoor pool. We’re truly sorry to hear that you didn’t feel comfortable using the pool during your stay. The pool is professionally serviced by a local pool and spa company the day of every guest’s arrival, and our management team is available around the clock for any concerns. We always welcome the chance to make things right during a stay, and regret we didn’t have the opportunity to assist you at the time. We hope you’ll consider giving us another chance in the future so we can provide the experience you were expecting.

Charming Christmas Cabin

We had a wonderful stay in this cozy cabin in the woods. Our family gathered just before Christmas to celebrate my 70th birthday! Pur grandkids (ages 5-9) were delighted with the pool and the little loft where they could spend time and watch TV. Four bedrooms and three baths were perfect for our needs. The open kitchen/family room kept us all together. Deer played next to us in the yard and we were able to bring our dog. The hosts went out of their way to accomodate some special requests. I would recommend this to any family wanting to spend time together and to keep children occupied.

House of 10,000 switches

The house was perfect for our needs. Plenty of sleeping, eating and recreation spaces. The pool is small and not as warm as we would have liked, but the kids enjoyed it. It took us a while to figure out the switches. So many and not in logical places. Many that seemingly did nothing. Labels on the switches would be a quick and easy way to mitigate that issue. Management company was responsive and accommodating, although it was completely unnecessary to make us drive an extra 30 minutes to check in at their office versus just texting me the code so I could let myself in the property. Hence the 4 star check-in rating versus 5 star. Overall, a great place! Hoping to return to the area again soon!

Communication was stellar! All questions and concerns addressed immediately. Kitchen was fully stocked! Plenty of towels. Only thing we were missing was bath soap, but no big deal to run to the store. Saugutuck and John Ball zoo were super close. Whole family loved the zoo and ferry boat ride, celebrating my retirement after 40 years of teaching! Would stay here again.
