We enjoyed watching the visitors experience the corn maize. The views of the orchards were beautiful. The home was spacious and provided both gathering spots and quiet areas.

The house is perfect for 3 couples to hangout for a Fall Weekend. we had a great time, this is our 2nd year that we stayed at this house. I would highly recommend this property. Maria Crane is very accommodating.

Family vacation

Thank you for letting us use your beautiful home. It was very clean, spacious and had everything needed to be comfortable. The only downside was the many stairs down to the lake.

Maria was extremely helpful and communicative. Great place to stay. Nice concrete steps with lighting to see where your walking down to the fire pit and dock at night. Would recommend!

Michigan getaway

This property is fabulous. Very spacious! Very clean. Location is only 15-20 minute drive to tourist towns like Saugatuck and South Haven. Owner is super quick at communicating. We wanted for nothing while there and we all said “we would stay there again or definitely refer this home to others traveling to this part of Michigan”

Time to relax and get away

We loved the check-in, so easy! The property was beautiful and well maintained. Our adult children thoroughly enjoyed using the canoe and kayaks. We took advantage of the fire pit and grilling out. Everything was in order and clean, Maria was great with communication and we all agreed we would love to come back next year, we had a wonderful stay!!

Beautiful Setting

Such a beautiful property! Well appointed. Relaxing, yet fun! Fennville is a cute town plus only a ten minute drive to Douglas/Saugatuck. Enjoyed the nearby wineries. Maria was extremely accommodating with our requests which made all the difference for our weekend bachelorette festivities. Only comment for improvement would be a new mattress for upstairs pull-out couch since it’s factored in for sleeping arrangements. Would MOST definitely stay here again!

Wonderful, comfortable home with lake access

We were three generations visiting for a wedding. The house was perfect for our group. We had teens on the pullout in the loft. Loved that there were 4 full bathrooms. The basement has lots of beds and a full bath and is very cool and dark - for those who like that when they sleep. The kitchen is well stocked, including marshmallow sticks. We brought up some food and of course it was too much because there are many great restaurants in Fennville, Douglas and Saugatauk. We enjoyed Cranes — got a delicious apple pie and cider donuts. The Farmhouse has great sandwiches and baked goods/breads and the Root Beer Barrel is a must stop for root beer floats. Saugatauk Dune ride in a Jeep is a thrill and even after many years going on it, it never gets old! We enjoyed kayaking on the lake and just sitting on the dock. (No chairs on the dock, bring a towel down). The only issue we had was the coffee maker died few days in to our stay. I messaged Maria and she was promptly brought over their personal coffeemaker and beans! That was a lifesaver. We would love to return!

The house is clean, spacious, and well-located. There were 7 of us and we could easily have had 2 or 3 others without feeling cramped. It is on a quiet street, just steps away from the lake. There is a fire pit, a grill, lovely outside furniture for those who enjoy the experience of al fresco dining. Any family that stays at Crane House will be delighted.

Large family vacation

We were a group of 12 adults and one child under 2. The house was perfect and the views amazing. We used the canoe on the lake which was nice. The toy trucks for the little one were a big hit. He played with them all week! The kitchen was well stocked for cooking and there are plenty of restaurants nearby if cooking is not your thing. It’s a short drive to the Lake MI beaches to enjoy the sand and waves. The donuts and pies at Cranes were enjoyed by all!

Crane Orchards Lakeview Rental House

My family and I really enjoyed our stay at the Crane Orchards lake house. Clean, quiet and plenty of room for everyone. We took the 12-min. drive to beautiful beaches every day—and chose from the many restaurants in Fennville and the Saugatuck area.

Little slice of Orchard Heaven

We had a wonderful stay. House is perfect for multiple families. Kitchen is well stocked. Beach towels available. We were in town for a family reunion. We utilized the Saugatuck inter transport to take us from Cranes to downtown. Daytime 50 for seniors & kids, 1 for adults during the day and 3 from 7-11pm. (Check that times & prices are still the same) super convenient, clean! The only reason I gave this great property a 9 is the mattresses need updating & we were there during a heat wave and trying to regulate the air conditioning to each level was tricky, without freezing the lower level or baking the upper level. Beautiful scenery !! Thanks

Perfect stay

We stayed at this beautiful home bordering a lake and an apple orchard for the weekend of our son‘s wedding nearby. It was an idyllic setting and even nicer in person than it was portrayed online.

Friends annual get away

We are a group of 4 couples that have been doing trips together for over 15 years. Although we have lost 2 of our friend's spouses, we continue to enjoy planning a long weekend stay together every year. This house had everything you need for a long weekend. The house is beautiful, roomy, comfortable and very welcoming to any group. Maria Crane did a great job of communicating with us and making sure everything was perfect. We all agreed this rental was one of our best in the past 15 years, and I know we will rent this house again.
