Trailer

It is not a house or an Apartment, it is a trailer on the back of a house, it is unsafe, especially in the dark, uneven, my wife fell because there was not enough light and injured her arm, I can send the pictures of her bruises. The hot water was not enough, my wife never took a shower there. The toilet seat would leak water when you seat on it. The sewage was some kind of suction system, it would make a loud sucking sound whe you flush or run the water in the sink. The ice box was full of ice, you could hardly close the fridge. There was no Television. 2 suitcases would not fit in the room if the sofa bed was open. The sofa bed is old and would sink in the middle. Not a safe place for a senior citizen

Just what we needed in tough times

Our situation was a little unique as we were in the SD area not for work or pleasure but to care for a seriously ill relative for several weeks. W/ hospital-adjacent motels wearing us down this funky tiny cargo-container studio was a godsend. Quiet walkable neighborhood w good access. Super clean, simple, comfortable with a view of canyon every dawn and evening and everything for making our own tea and omelettes after very hard days. The Heat-pump AC was up to the challenge of the heat wave and the shower is great. We watched hawks and made friends with the local rabbits but it was a two block walk for ice cream and 15 minutes drive to La Mesa. This place would be perfect for one person (two people on a sofa bed is never optimal back-wise so it probably helps if they really like each other and/or are short and very very tired) and for us two it was a real oasis.
