Beautifully remodeled lakefront 3 bedroom and 2.5 bathroom home. Sleeps 10 people. 40 minute all highway drive to Auburn (on Highway 280). 10 minutes from the new Alexander City Publix. Walkable to Boodock's at Bay Pine for pizza, cocktails, boat ramp, live music and boat rentals. Lovely character exudes from the antique beamed open kitchen and family room. Owned by Atlanta interior designer. Have fun with the whole family at this stylish place. Completely updated. Brand new private 18' by 32' dock and over-sized deck with large dining table and comfortable seating Morning sunrise view from the lakeside dock and beautiful sunsets from the upper porch. Internet, 70" flat screen with Sonos surround sound system. This is not your typical lake home. Power strips next to every bed for easy phone charging. Dock has swim stairs and is behind a no-wake zone.

Main living space on one floor with a half bath. Open floor plan with exposed beam. Upstairs holds 3 bedrooms and 2 baths. Covered patios on both floors. New furnished and over-sized deck flowing seamlessly from the kitchen and family room. Private new dock with room for boats or jet skis to be tied down. Home has been completely remodeled and is very well stocked. Third bedroom is 2 twin beds over double bunk beds. There is a queen air mattress which can fit in this room as well.

Entire property including parking for 8 cars or boat trailers, home, covered balconies with seating, new large fully furnished deck, and an 18' by 32' dock with room for a 30' boat.

No smoking in the home. 2 dogs are allowed but house rules must be followed nad extra $50 cleaning fee to the housekeeper. Pet rules must be verified in advance.
No events or parties without approval.

The host requires you to complete the following before checking out:
Load and start the dishwasher
Strip any used beds and gather used towels
Remove personal items, remove leftover food and drinks and take out the rubbish
Turn off the lights and lock the doors
Please make sure all of the trash is in the trash can and the large trash can is at the curb on the opposite side of street. The truck can only pick up from the other side of the street.
Sheets can just be placed on the floor near the used beds. Towels can be left on the bathroom floors. If you start the first load of towels, it will help the housekeeper, but is not required.
Please inform me when you depart and if there are any damages or issues with the home needing to be addressed. Thanks for staying with me.
Failure to complete these may result in a negative review from the host.

House is on a septic system, as most Lake Martin houses, flushing objects that will clog the septic system will be fined $500 if the septic is clogged

The house is beautiful and very well equipped for a family vacation. We've rented many vacation homes and this one had the most comfortable beds! Jeff has a wonderful property at an amazing location. The new deck and dock were fantastic. Publix was only 15 mins away. We rented a boat next door at the Boondocks as well. It was an ideal setup for us. We will be back! Thank you!

Very well equipped house with amazing views and spacious outdoor areas. Plenty of outdoor seating, and Jeff did a great job of making sure the inside of the house felt like a home away from home! Loved having dining tables on both the patio and the dock. Such nice touches for families who want to enjoy every moment by being outside together! Thank you!

Great location on north side of lake.

Well maintained and clean. All furnishings and appliances seem newly updated. Offers plenty of areas for seating outside and large boat dock. Two driveways, one easily fit F250 with 25ft trailer. Owner was very friendly and helpful. Added bonus was the nearby marina. Very convenient!

Great location

Amazing location, host is super communicative and accommodating. Can’t say enough about how great Jeff is! Beautiful house with plenty of sleeping for everyone. Close to grocery/restaurants in Alexander city, just 15 minutes away! Lots of outdoor seating and games to play, ping pong, corn hole, floats for the lake. Our young adults were entertained the whole time. Will definitely rent here again!

Lake Martin House

This is a great house with a terrific layout. Bedrooms are all upstairs and the kitchen and den (living space) is downstairs. Nice deck and outdoor area too, with easy access to the lake. This house has been renovated and offers many nice amenities for guests. Great place to stay! Host was very nice and friendly. Communication was great and we couldn't ask for a nicer vacation. 10/10!

Great Weekend

Had a great stay! Jeff was a great host! Easy to communicate with and available when needed! House was stocked with all the necessities (cooking supplies, board games, toiletries). Lots of attention to detail. House has a great ping pong table, corn hole and available floats for the lake. Such a great find! We’ll definitely be back! Boondocks at Bay Pines is a great little place next door! Pizza and ice cream always at the ready. Loved being in a no wake zone and so close to a gas pump.

A/U vs Ole Mis

I chose this location to be close enough to A/U to catch a football game and spend time with my daughter, who is a student at A/U. The house was everything it was said to be. Clean, spacious and stocked with everything you need. The views along with the outdoor furnishings made days and nights the perfect place to sit, relax and enjoy the serenity. Our host Jeff was always quick to answer any questions we had. I look forward to returning, in the near future.

Lake Martin getaway

We spent a week in June at this beautiful home. It was perfect for six adults, although there was room for a couple more if needed. This was the best stocked lake house we've ever rented. A lot of the basics you need were already there. The home was beautifully appointed both inside and out. Very nice dock on a deep slough with a view of big water. A boat launch was just down the street for convenience. Only a short staircase to the water. The owner was kind and attentive. We felt like we had the lake to ourselves Monday through Thursday, and there was not an overwhelming amount of boat traffic on the weekend. We would happily rent this house again.

Booking again!

Booking a vacation months in advance, you never know what Mother Nature will do. Unfortunately for us, it rained all day-every day, so we were not able to enjoy everything that this place has to offer (the pictures of the decks in listing don’t do justice of just how amazing they are) but still had a great time. The property has everything to keep you busy on rainy days. Smart TV, board games and a refrigerator that keeps your drinks cold. Oh, I can’t forget the extremely cozy blankets on the couch!! Jeff, the host, was very kind and offered an extra night at no cost however, we had a flight to catch in Sunday. We do plan on visiting family in the area again and WILL book this property again!

Beautiful Big Water Views

My wife and I stayed at this property for Memorial Day weekend and enjoyed our time on Lake Martin. We originally had planned on having another couple with us, but it ended up just being the 2 of us. This is a nice 3/3 with a pretty view from 2 of the 3 bedrooms, a great upper deck, patio and dock. I have rented a boat from the marina that's only 2 doors away, but they were purchased by another owner and were still under renovation, so I'm not sure if they'll continue renting boats once they reopen. It's a lively spot, but they've moved the gas pumps to the other side of the inlet, so that should cut down on the number of boats coming into this slew. Sitting on the dock, with a steady breeze and miles of water ahead makes for a relaxing evening!

Updated and Cozy

We had a family of 6 staying for 4 nights, 4 adults and 2 kids. This cottage was perfect for our needs. It is nicely updated and the couch in the living room was big and comfy and easily accommodated 6 bodies. The kitchen is on the smaller side but has everything you need to prepare meals. The property is located on the northside of the lake which is quieter. The property itself is not as private as some we have rented but the deck was nice to sit out on in the evenings. The sun actually sets on the front of the house making the evenings cooler on the deck. And a nice surprise that wasn't mentioned in the description or the reviews is it is 2 doors down from a marina called Boondocks at Baypine. It has frozen adult drinks and live music on certain weekends. It was a fun little bonus and they also have gas pumps which made it easy to fill up the boat. The manager was easy to access and happy to answer any questions. The 3 bedrooms are all located upstairs, just in case anyone has problems going up and down. All in all, we had a great time and I would happily recommend this house.

Why they chose this property

The views are just amazing from everywhere in this home. Sunrises can be enjoyed from the bedrooms and beautiful new deck and sunsets from the upper balcony. Since the home is on a narrow peninsula, the lake and views are available front and back. The private penisula has only 5 homes and no traffic other than owners/renters. I have decorated the home in a very stylish but comfortable aesthetic. I enjoy quality things in life so the furniture, outdoor furniture, sheets, cookware, dishware, sonos sound system, etc are not typical of most lake rentals. I have only ever received 5 star reviews.

What makes this property unique

The home is very easily accessible. Turn off 280 and drive to the home. Auburn is 40 minutes away, Downtown Dadeville is 12 minutes and Alexander City is 12 minutes. Publix, Walmart, Chick-fil-A, Home Depot and all within a 15 minute easy drive. Home is on a wide cove on the North side of the lake near Peanut Point. Woods Island, Youngs Island and Wind Creek State Park. Walking distance from Boondocks at Bay Pines Marina where you can have a cocktail while listening to live music, order pizza, buy ice or gas up your boat. The home has a private dock for swimming, sunning or tying up your boat. Plenty of parking for 6-8 cars or boat trailers. Boondocks at Bay Pine marina has a ramp for putting your water toys in the lake.
