About this property

There's something for everyone in this simple and comfortable home centrally located in the Hudson Valley. Relax in this 3-bedroom home surrounded by woods while knowing that everything you need is a short distance away. Less than thirty minutes to Woodstock, Kingston, and Hudson, NY. This sweet and stylish pre-fab is complete with a full kitchen, an indoor fireplace, and even bunk beds for the kiddos.

The house is one level and opens to a large open area with a dining room, and sunk-in kitchen, and living room. Three bedrooms and two bathrooms make up the rest of the house. There is a front porch with a few stairs to climb to get to the front door and a covered back porch with a fenced in backyard. Built in 1999, and with a lot of the original features, I like to call it “Y2K-chic.”

You will have access to the entire house and surrounding yard including a grill and fire area.

Great communication with owner

Kudos to the owner for having cloth napkins and heat is via heat pumps…all good for the environment. Mattresses were comfy. Lovely front and back porches. Back porch is covered which worked for us as it rained the first day we were there. Plenty of privacy. Several things didn’t work (bathtub in master and water and ice maker on refrigerator in the kitchen but there were signs on them to that effect. NO television which we weren’t aware of. Place was clean and neat.

Spacious clean house in the Catskills.

We enjoyed a quiet stay except for the neighbor’s dog that barked constantly. The house was spacious, comfortable and very clean. We lost wifi service the first night during a rain storm and cell service at the house was very bad.

Wherever I am, I love welcoming people home and keeping the lights on for you when you come in late. Since I can't be two places at once, I'm happy to have people enjoy my home!

Why they chose this property

Saugerties is a great place to explore the Catskills. Within a half an hour (often less), theres Kingston, Woodstock, Catskill, and Hudson; and Katterskill, Hunter Mountain, Opus40, and the Ashokan Reservoir.

What makes this property unique

This house is an original gem. I haven't changed a lot of the original features (and slowly updating the original fixtures!) and I like the charm of the house. Big open space greets you as soon as you open the door, and tons of sunlight at every hour of the day.
