The house is very well designed and tastefully furnished. It is also the most thoughtfully equipped rental in which I've stayed. There was everything we needed to cook family meals and a fantastic coffee set up.
We stayed at this property while exploring Middleburg area for the first time. Although it feels very quiet and peaceful at the property, you are not far from anything!
Very well, equipped property. Spacious, clean, and great for our small group. We enjoyed dinner at the red Fox Inn and Field in Maine. The town of Middleburg is very charming. Brunch at King Street oyster bar was fabulous. Thanks so much for your hospitality.
Peaceful, quiet getaway close to the DC Metro Area
We had a lovely girls weekend away in this modern home tucked away in Middleburg. It was conveniently located near town and among rolling roads of horse country. The house was cosy, comfortable and had all the amenities of home. We especially liked the comf beds and Nespresso machine.
Great house, great location, great place to explore Middleburg and the surrounding area. We enjoyed the patio and watching the horses. Fantastic kitchen equipped with everything we needed. We’ll be back!
We thoroughly enjoyed our visit which is located in the middle of many horse farms. Spacious and roomy. Close access to Middleburg and hiking venues. Would stay there again without hesitation.
Wonder property for 3 couples in Middleburg for the Christmas Parade and festivities. Location was a quick scenic drive to town. The house had everything one would need. We enjoyed the firepit one night. Spent most of our time in town.
The property was great. There was no French press when we arrived but was brought to us within minutes of requesting it. I would suggest maybe a regular coffee maker for future guests. Otherwise, everyone was very helpful and responsive. I would definitely stay there again!
Renovated classic home with new everything; Wolf stove, marble tile bathrooms, fireplace, and horses outside your window!! It doesn't get any better. 5 minute drive to the charming little village of Middleburg. Had an issue using the espresso machine, our ignorance, and Host responded within minutes to show us how!
Great 3 Bedroom house with large open kitchen/living room/dining room. Went with my Bro and Mom who love horses which delightfully we could see from the living room and outdoor dining table!
Kristiana was lovely and found time for us even while competing (and winning!) in the local Horse show.
Gorgeous neighborhood close to town and local winery's. Can't wait to go back! Thank You Kristiana! ;-)

Thank you so much! I loved meeting you. I wish I had more time to talk to you and spend time with the horses.
It was the perfect fit for us. We had events in The Plains, Upperville, and Middleburg, so we were really well positioned to move in any direction. Super convenient to town to get a coffee or just have a stroll. The welcome email was chock full of helpful recommendations for restaurants, shops, wineries and a myriad of fun activities.
The countryside is beautiful and we loved having a couple of horses as our immediate neighbors.
The cottage worked very well for the four of us with three bedrooms and two baths. Beautifully furnished and very comfortable. We didn’t cook, but had we wanted to, the kitchen was well stocked with all the tools we may have needed. Overall it met our needs and expectations.Thank you Kristiane for being a great host.
Great week with Grandparents (80’s and mobility issues) and two children under five. Check-in and check-out was very easy. Hosts were absolutely excellent. They checked via VRBO to make sure everything was going great at the beginning; gave great detailed recommendations to enhance our stay; provided timely responses to the questions we had; and provided perfectly timed communications about the simplest of checkouts.House is a ranch with a basement. Hardwood and tile throughout. It was remodeled fairly recently. Bathrooms are excellent. Nice towels. Soap, shampoo, and conditioner if you forgot yours. Walk in shower with master suite. (Main reason we stayed here).Open plan with two living areas on opposite sides of the dining area. Perfect for entertaining.Kitchen is very well layed out. Wolf gas range. Drawers, drawers, and drawers (no lower cabinets…so easier to find and access accessories). Coffee: Nespresso or French Press.Beds were comfortable. Would have preferred 100% cotton sheets. Some were 100%. Our room had a 50/50 or 60/40 blend….making it a little hot.It was not an easy place to find for the old school map users. Completely a breeze with any GPS navigation tool or app! The roads are tight, and this was more apparent in a thunderstorm. It is a bit of a drive (11minutes of twists and turns) to get take out or groceries from Middleburg. We did not plan this trip well, so I went into town daily. It is a fun drive.
Perfect for a mother and daughter get away. Peaceful and quiet. Short distance to Middleburg. Looking forward to staying here again. Already planning another trip with the whole family at Thanksgiving!
