We had a great stay at the Owl's Roost. The home was very clean and comfortable. As others have noted, the drive up is very steep, but there is a wonderful view across the valley. I highly recommend this home.

We so enjoyed our stay at the Owl’s Roost despite a weekend of rain. This house is cozy and accommodating. Enjoyed the views from the porch and games in the lower level. There was plenty of space for privacy and hanging out as a group. Plenty of hot water for all for showers which is always appreciated. The drive up was slightly slick and bumper rails would’ve given some peace of mind at some spots where deep drop offs meet narrow roads up to the house. But that’s the mountains… Thank you for the wonderful stay!

Our family had a great time at Owl’s Roost! While it is a steep drive up- the covered porch with the view was so worth it! We loved the convenience to Valle Crucis and the park! We also loved the downstairs play room playing all the old school nintendo games! Wayne was very prompt to answer any questions we had. Thank you for allowing us to stay!

Had a lovely time with our family of 9 at Owls Roost. The house was well equipped for all our needs. Enjoyed the hot tub, the views, and the wrap around porch. Everything went well. We all enjoyed our visit to the Blue Ridge Mountains.

This was the perfect place for our family. Plenty of space for adults and kids to spread out and the hot tub was amazing. Plenty of supplies to cook and the included firewood was an awesome surprise!

The Owl's Roost .... excellent accommodations

Best mountain cabin we have stayed in and the owner was very prompt in communicating and answering all questions leading up to our trip . I would recommend The Owl's Roost for a family trip or a friend's gathering .

Great Mountain Cabin

This was a great place to stay for families, or friend get togethers. Plenty of space and well stocked for cooking. Hot tub was great so were the views.
