The inside of the house was great. Nice King sized beds in the rooms and decent sized kitchen. The house has a hot tub that they say it gets drained after every use and filled again. However, there was a white substance all over the bottom of the hot tub and seats. At first we thought it was the chemicals but it stayed there after running for 4 days. We could not use it the whole stay. Also customer service for Colonial was not friendly. I spoke tho them two times before our visit asking questions and the representatives were very short, rude and condesending. If I rent another place in this area, I'll make sure to be very cautious when it is managed by Colonial.

Thank you for taking the time to share your feedback. We're glad to hear you enjoyed the home itself, including the spacious kitchen and comfortable king-sized beds. We sincerely apologize for the issues you experienced with the hot tub and for the frustration this caused during your stay. A clean, ready-to-use hot tub is an important part of the guest experience, and we regret that it was not in the condition you expected. We have shared your concerns with our team so the hot tub can be inspected and any necessary steps can be taken to ensure this is addressed. We’re also sorry to hear that your interactions with our customer service team did not meet the level of hospitality we strive to provide. We value every guest interaction and will review your feedback with our team to help improve communication and service. Thank you again for your honest comments. We appreciate the opportunity to learn from your experience and hope we have the chance to provide you with a better stay in the future.

Beautiful scenery

We traveled down from Michigan for half of our spring break! The drive was easy until we got to th road leading to the cabin! If you’re not used to driving up hills with no shoulder then it’s a white knuckle drive! Many local activities and sights to see and only a half hour drive to Gatlinburg and Pigeon Forge. House was very nice and spacious. We all had our own bedrooms and bathrooms which is nice with 3 teenager daughters! Views from the wrap around deck are simply breathtaking! Was hoping to spot a bear but not this time. Would highly recommend!

Thank you so much for your fantastic review! We're thrilled to hear that you and your family had a great spring break getaway and enjoyed the spacious layout, private bedrooms and bathrooms, and those stunning views from the wraparound deck. It’s always great to hear when guests feel at home and can relax—especially with teens in tow! We understand the drive up can be a bit nerve-wracking if you're not used to mountain roads, but we're glad you made it safely and found it worth the trip. Hopefully next time, you’ll get that bear sighting! We truly appreciate the recommendation and would love to welcome you back anytime.
