Pictures are great but still don’t do it justice. Incredible place, perfect for large groups of adults or children (we had 6 ranging from 2-13). Wonderful amenities.

Beautiful views, well equipped house, cozy with the fireplace, nearby trails for walks/hiking (Walton Lake, Lynx and Salida Gulch), 20 min ride to Costco & Walmart. Very steep climb on the drive to the house, which results in the stunning views.

Perfect Forest Getawy

This home was deep enough in the forest to feel secluded and with nature, yet less than 12 minutes from Costco, Traders Joes and other desired locations. We kept having our expectations exceeded here. Great beds, spacious, just perfect! Highly recommend! A+

Great Property for All sizes

Although we did not get to use most of the amenities of the property, in the future we know this property is a one size fits all for groups and families. Next time food will be brought and hiking will occur! This property has and fits all the needs to entertain all ages. Would suggest for families and friends!

Something for everyone

Beautiful property. Comfortable beds. We enjoyed that they had so many different areas to enjoy outside on the decks. We liked having the propane table to sit around outside at night. The house was well stocked with spices and dishes. We wished the binder included information on the noise ordinance. We had a very difficult time finding what the expected quiet hours were. We also would have like a quick guide for how to operate the lower over we wanted to cook two pizzas at once and were unable to figure it out.

Great cabin but a few disclaimers…

This property was a nice getaway but the listing says it sleeps 14 and one of the “beds” is a stained cot that is incredibly uncomfortable. We ended up purchasing air mattresses for some people because of the cot situation and one of the beds was hard as a rock. It felt like you were sleeping on the floor. The house is great and is tucked away in the trees. The driveway is incredibly steep to get up. If you have more than 4/5 cars that need to be parked it is very tough to maneuver. The house was supposed to come with extra linens but we only found one extra set of sheets so if you need extra linens I would suggest bringing some. Other than those couple of things the property was nice and there were some good activities that came with the house.

We had a great family trip and everyone enjoyed the space. So many conversation and hang-out areas and enough room so all 9 or us felt like we had plenty of room to relax. The kitchen was impressive and having an "indoor grill" room was a real treat. The weather prevented us from hanging out in the lower areas as much as we might have liked but we enjoyed having so many options to hang out or have some quiet time when the weather permitted. We were very comfortable and appreciated having the upper fireplace as an option. It gave a very cozy vibe.Property management was responsive and quickly addressed getting a couple of issues (repairing vertical blinds and some tripped GFCI outlets.)We could not figure out how to turn on/off some of the exterior lights (tried every switch we could find) but it wasn't a major issue (didn't report this as it was not worth having someone come out to fix it.)The only thing that kept this from being a full 5 star review is that for the cost, we did expect things to be a little cleaner when we arrived. We spent the first couple of hours sweeping, knocking down some spiderwebs/cobwebs (inside and out -inside was the bigger issue) and scrubbing the grill as the last person that used it did not clean it. We know it can be difficult keeping a property in the woods clean, so we anticipated having to do some of that.We fully plan on visiting again in the future!

The ceiling fans should have been cleaned prior to our visit. Once we noticed how dirty the fans were thick with dust, we no longer turned them on. Besides that issue, we enjoyed the house. Finally, when sending exit instructions to the occupants, the instructions should be sent 24 hours prior to the occupants’ departure, especially when there is internet issues at that house. We had internet issues that evening before we left.
