Stay ocean-side and enjoy many benefits of an oceanfront complex without paying oceanfront prices. Guests staying in Ocean One 102 enjoy a landscape view and won't have to cross a street to reach the Atlantic Ocean/Beach. King beds in the primary bedroom and BR 2. 1 Queen in BR 3 plus 2 twin beds in BR 4 along with three full-sized bathrooms. After hours in the surf, vacationers rinse under the outdoor shower located on the complex's private beach walkway and then dip into the oceanfront swimming pool. Ocean One has added a new grilling area to the complex in the oceanfront lawn area in between the building and the sand dunes. Unit 102 is on the ground level of a 5 story elevator building located in the South Forest Beach area. Among the amenities offered throughout Hilton Head Island, Ocean One is one block from the Coligny Beach Market, a quaint downtown area that offers guests a wide selection of restaurants, shopping venues, and entertainment for all ages. Charming condo in great location

I was nervous about the condo after reading one of the reviews but when we got there, we found a clean, well-stocked, ideally-located condo. The condo had everything we needed and we could shower in all 3 showers at the same time and have plenty of hot water. We enjoyed our stay and are hoping to rent it again to attend next year’s golf tournament.

Overall, I do not recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: The best part of this condo is the 4 bedrooms and ground floor location. It does need some renovations, some better furniture, and better cookware. Also the carpeting needs to be replaced.

Vacation 2023 Ocean One

We arrived to find dirty towels, dirty silverware in the drawer and the TV not working in the living room. Someone from the property management came to fix the TV. Pool was also closed for 2 days at the end of our stay due to a crack/hole. Otherwise great location. Condo could use some major updates.

I was very dissatisfied with the condition of the vacation rental. Overall, I do not recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: Door jam on sliding door broken and loose caused guest to fall and injur knee the first day badly. The black mold in the freezer. The vomit in one of the bathrooms all over side of tub and beside and behind toilet. Dishwasher completely rusted to where we would not use it. No pots and pans hardly worth using. And what was there had to be scrubbed as they had food and grease cakes up in them. Rust in one of the faucets of the bathtub coming out when you run water in the tub. Nasty under all beds and furniture. Carpet nasty in the bedrooms. Location and being 4 bedrooms is the plus. Parking is not good to only offer 2 spaces for a 4 bedroom rental. Chair in bedroom leg duct taped to it. Sliding door curtains stained from being wet. None of the floors cleaned well as all socks dirty when walked on with no shoes.

Rating Details: The property manager was very helpful. The vacation rental was spotless. I was very happy with the location. I was somewhat dissatisfied with the condition of the vacation rental. Overall, I do not recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: As seen in the pictures, the unit has dated furniture, which I was OK with. However, that also meant that the mattresses were dated. If you have any back issues, I would not recommend this unit. One of the beds did have a mattress topper, which made the bed comfortable; however, the sheets are not made to cover a mattress and a mattress topper so they kept coming off while we slept, which is kind of irritating to wake up and you’re just laying on a mattress topper. Also, if you plan to cook meals, the cookware supplied is not sufficient size for the number this unit sleeps. Two of the pans that we used to cook with were heavily scratched teflon coated and it transferred to the food. Unfortunately, I did not realize this until halfway through the week. When I contacted management and requested a large fry pan and a small fry pan, they immediately brought by an entire set of cookware, however, the largest frypan in the set was 10 inches at the top, which is definitely not large enough to cook for 7. A keurig would be a great addition because when you have a potential for eight people staying not everybody is getting at the same time to have coffee. The TV set up is a bit quirky – sometimes you have to reset the VCR in order to watch the TV.Good things about this unit are the layout; the proximity to the beach, pool, parking; and management responds quickly. The negatives that I mentioned could very easily be corrected with a little bit of money.

Reviewer Comments: This condo is in a great location and very spacious but is in a terrible condition filled to overflowing with junk crammed into every surface. You can forgive the grandmotherly decor because it has a great air conditioner, new washer and dryer and a large dining table. We had no place to store groceries because every cupboard and closet was completely full of junk and old food and spices. The master closet was filled with the owners personal clothing with no separation between hers and yours. The pantry was filled on every shelf. I moved stuff from two shelves but the wire shelving underneath was greasy and sticky. A dumpster needs to be brought in and all personal effects need to be removed so a good cleaning can be done. The TV system was hard to deal with. We have rented in Ocean One for several years but have never seen anything like this. I was so surprised our realtor who we had liked very much, would put their name with this unit. This could be a wonderful condo because the layout and location are great.

Do Not Rent Unit 102 Ocean One!

Overall, I do not recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: We were in this Oct 6-13, 2023. It was horrible. We have rented multiple units in years past from Seashore Vacations, all of which were great. It is shocking to me that Ocean One Unit 102 is part of their rental program. It was dirty, outdated, and cluttered with tons of personal items of the owner! The kitchen was so full of junk there was not one available cupboard or pantry shelf for our grocery items. Filled cupboards with owner's outdated food items, closets that had to be shared with owner's clothing and cosmetic items. Pantry shelves were completed filled on both sides, to include tupperware, old bedspreads and linens stuffed into shelves, old pots and pans and dishes, broken appliances, etc. There was not one shelf available for use. We ended up cleaning off 2 of the shelves into a large box and leaving on the pantry floor, to make room for our groceries. Bathroom drawers and under sinks were cluttered with owner's items. Shelf liners were nasty. Mattresses were old and lumpy, bedsheets were mismatched with different colored sheets, and sheets were old and paper thin. I ended up buying king sheets and a blanket for our bed. White towels and washcloths were so gray they looked like they had been used as dust cloths. Carpets were absolutely filthy. I don’t believe they had ever been cleaned. Patio area was cluttered with stacked up rental chairs which were never retrieved, old folded up umbrellas, beach toys, tattered mats, and dirty furniture. Most lamps in the unit did not work. The tables and furniture in the unit, with the exception of the sofa, were so old the finish was completely worn off the wood furniture. I honestly don't believe the owner used a cleaning service. It appeared they actually lived there, and just packed a bag and left when the unit was rented. I resent paying a cleaning fee for a filthy, neglected unit. We called the rental company upon checkin to address these issues. The manager never contacted us back.

Fun family vacation!

Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: Property was very clean and fully stocked with all the things you could need while traveling! Couldn’t ask for a better location - only a couple minutes walk from all the shops and restaurants at Coligny Plaza and a short drive out to Sea Pines! The kids spent every day at the beach or pool and I highly recommend taking your morning coffee out to the fire pit area and watching the sun rise.
