This quaint beachfront 1BR vacation condo rental at the Edgewater Windward building offers a perfect space for a relaxing weekend at our beautiful PCB beaches! The master bedroom features a queen bed with access to the master bathroom along with access to the low floor beachfront balcony. The balcony is as close to the beach as you can be while sipping your coffee or enjoying a glass of wine at the end of the day. The common area of this oceanfront haven has a sleeper sofa with access to the units second bathroom. The condo also has an inflatable full mattress for those that would prefer using it over the sleeper sofa. The condo is listed as the first floor (is actually at second floor height) but the complex is actually raised and the condo must be accessed via one flight of stairs or the elevator located just outside the front door of the condo.

Edgewater is centrally located to Pier Park restaurants and shopping as well as the Top Restaurants in town such as Firefly, American Charlie, Saltwater Grill along with multiple fast food restaurants. The Shipwreck Island water park and St Andrews State Park as well as the PCB sport complexes are all just a 10 to 15 minute drive from the resort.

Edgewater resorts offers several pools, one of them heated, the Edgewater Windward building is on the quieter west end of the property. Edgewater Beach and Golf Resorts has some of the most inclusive benefits (golf, tennis and fitness center require additional fees) you will find along the Gulf Coast! We look forward to hosting your friends or family getaway! Extended monthly stays might require updated monthly parking passes and fees when renting for a long term vacation rental condo stay during Snow Bird season.

The condo is stocked with Bed linens, bath towels, wash clothes, kitchen towels, a couple of garbage bags and starter toilet paper, starter paper towels and courtesy soaps (you restock these items for your group during your stay). The kitchen is stocked with the essential pots and cooking pans, toaster, coffee pot, dishwasher, microwave, stove and fridge.

LOCATION! LOCATION! LOCATION!

Really appreciated the close proximity to the beach, elevator, & parking… very conducive for someone with back & knee issues. Property manager was also very responsive & helpful when we needed to add an extra night at the very last minute. We loved it & will never stay anyplace else in PCB!!

Great retreat

Weather was rainy and cold (30's!) but the location and view were perfect. Great restaurants and plenty of fun activities nearby. I would recommend this condo to couples and small families.

Beautiful location. Close to beach access The condo was very clean. Needs lights replaced in kitchen. One toilet does not flush well. No hangers in closet. Called property management. They said they would bring some but never did. Also gave us the wrong beach access code. We would stay here again

Decent Condo in a good neighborhood

The best thing about this unit is that it is in Edgewater one of our favorite places to stay. This particular building is at the far end of the resort and doesn’t seem to be quite up to the standards of the resort as a whole. In fairness there did seem to be some upgrades taking place, so maybe it’s improving. The unit itself was clean and right on the beach. The furnishings could use some upgrades such as comfortable seating in the living room and a larger bed. All was clean and you do have a nice beach view. I would stay there again but would look for a more updated unit first. The dryer needs a new heating element and the hair dryer does not work.

Very nice place to stay. Only downsides were queen bed instead of king and minimal kitchen utensils. The view and area are terrific!

Great weekend getaway for a small family!!

The property was just as pictured and described! Loved having the amenities of Edgewater, while also staying on the quieter end! The first floor location is fantastic if you have little ones. Easy trips to and from the beach. And the balcony offered the BEST views! Would definitely stay again!

Awesome location. Could use a little attention to details but nothing interfered with how wonderful this place is. So convenient to the beautiful beach which is what we all want isn’t it?! Manager was very available. Plan to return!

Right on the beach

The check in process was very easy, 1st floor right next to the stairs to the beach. Very nice balcony. The only two things I would say ( very minor) the couch pull out needs a new mattress and if you like it cold when you sleep bring a fan.

Clean and good location but needs attention

Overall, we enjoyed our stay. The place was clean and in a great location. We had some concerns: the bathroom shower nozzle was spraying on the ceiling and wall and water had difficulty coming through the nozzle, the front door was hard to open and shut and the bedroom stayed hot (we had to purchase a fan).

Could not have stayed at a better place in Edgewater! Close enough to everything, but also nice and quiet and not one of the main towers! Property manager went above and beyond to help with EVERYTHING I asked him about in preparing for our arrival. I will book this exact condo again next time we are back in Panama City!

Why they chose this property

Windward Tower is on the west end of the Edgewater Resort complex.

The quieter side of the complex but close enough to all that makes Edgewater great.

The resort is changing their parking guidelines and all guest will be required to pay a parking registration fee upon arrival of $70 for 4 resort bands and 1 car pass upon the change.
