Dangerous Structural & Safety Issues. This is a poorly maintained, run-down single-wide trailer. While sheets were clean-ish, the property has critical security, safety, and habitability failures. Upon arrival, the front door was completely unlocked and unsecured, and it is physically detached at the top hinges. Worse, there is not a single functioning smoke detector in the entire home, just exposed wires near the kitchen ceiling. The interior subflooring under the dining table is rotted through and soft to the step, creating a breakthrough hazard. The exterior deck wood is heavily corroded, and the stairs are completely rotted and dangerous. The living room features an unsupported, small sofa instead of the couch pictured. A secondary bedroom has stained, foul-smelling carpet, entirely different from the listing photo. The AC is not efficient causing the main bedroom and bathroom uncomfortable due to heat. That bathroom had a moldy shower curtain and a broken vanity missing its top drawer face. Outside, the yard is unkept, littered with trash, beer cans, a filthy kiddie pool, and an armless, headless mannequin left on the deck. The side door won't shut unless dead-bolted. We had to wear shoes inside the entire stay and use our own beach towels due to a heavy mildew smell. Unless you truly want a place to drop your bags and head at night, I would NOT recommend booking.
