Loved the property grounds, the lake, and the paddle boards! House itself was nice but a bit dated furniture. The bed and couch could be more comfortable. Nonetheless I would stay here again
Wonderful property to enjoy the lake and yard. The house is bright n sunny...comfortablr n plenty big for family to enjoy! Beautiful setting ..private. great time great kocation thanks!!
Our family stayed here during our daughter's hockey tournament. The space was perfect for our family. We especially enjoyed the lake area. We kayaked, fished, swam and used the paddle board. The host was attentive to us when we had a question or two. We would stay here again if we end up in this area. Thank you!
Our family had a fantastic stay at the Manchuag Pond lakeside property! The location was beautifully serene, and the house was well-equipped with all the amenities we needed. Britt and Serena were attentive hosts, ensuring we had everything for a comfortable visit. Our kids had an amazing time enjoying the lake and surrounding activities. We would definitely stay here again! Highly recommended!
What a hidden gem! We were in town for a reunion and ended up making so many awesome memories as a family here! My kids loved the lake, paddle boards and kayaking! This was definitely one of the cleanest place we've have ever stayed! Very impressed with how we instantly felt at home and comfortable here…very cozy atmosphere! In addition to being right on the lake, anything needed is only a short drive away…we would definitely come back!!!
Beautiful property with a perfect lake area for our family. We loved being able to walk right down and hang out in the lake. We took advantage of the provided kayaks and paddle boards and my son did lots of fishing. The owners even took us on a tour of the lake in their pontoon boat. The house was clean and well stocked for our family of 5 and had everything we needed so we never had to leave the property. The owners were great and the communication was superb. We loved it so much we are already going to book for next year. Don't hesitate to book here. You won't regret it.
We had a great stay overall. The host is very communicative and the location is great.
The house is roughly 50 m from a lake. There are kayaks and paddle boards and a small private beach. The beach has great shade, a grill, gazebo, and a fire pit.
The house is nice and the the property is very big.
Overall excellent! Would recommend!
We had absolutely a great stay!!!
The house was clean, yard perfect and our family enjoyed themselves on the lake fishing, kayaking and paddling boarding! A great spot!
There were a few essentials missing in the kitchen but we made do.
The host went out of the way to return an item left behind. We are very grateful!
The apartment was clean, comfortable and spacious; just as advertised. The lake setting was truly beautiful. The property managers upstairs were gracious and helpful. I had family visit to enjoy the lake with me and a great time was had by all. One little note: IF you have a family member with severe mobility issues, take note that to go from the house to the lake edge is over an expansive wonderful lawn (half a football field long?). This is a great thing for families enjoying time outside, but could be a challenge for someone with a walker or cane. Thank you to Brittni and Serena for providing an excellent place to stay while I visited with family.
When we first stumbled upon this apartment on Vrbo, it seemed almost too good to be true. There must be a catch! But everything was as perfect as it seemed online. The place had everything we needed to enjoy our stay. Brittni is the most thoughtful, gracious host, and arranged a boat tour for us to enjoy around the lake. She also provided us with the information we needed to get around the area. We had a great stay!
Stayed for a long weekend with my sons family and one of my other sons visited for a day with his family. The kids had a blast on the private beach and in the water. We used the kyaks and paddle board multiple times. The house was missing a couple of essentials when we got there, a text to the property manager and we had what we needed very quickly. Britt, the owner was really nice, we enjoyed the boat tour of the lake she took us on with her Dad. Overall a really fun family weekend in a great spot!
We had a very nice stay at this property with our family of older "children." The home was accurately described and clean. The property is larger than we anticipated with plenty of space for yard games and we enjoyed the screened in porch in the mornings and the beach area in the evenings for campfires. The waterfront was accessible and not weedy. We knew before our trip we would be sharing the property with upstairs tenants, and they were very helpful, friendly and respectful. However, families or others renting should know that on the weekend when people renting the boat slips on the property come, several boaters park on the grassy lawn and during our stay friends of the owner used the beach area for the day which we did not anticipate. the screened in gazebo was very nice.
Pros: lake was beautiful for kayaking, paddle boarding, fishing, and swimming. They had all sorts of floats available! There’s a sand bar out in the middle (about a 15-20 minute kayak away) that we spent some time at. The fire pit was nice and fully stocked with wood. Internet worked well and there was a smart tv in each room. ACs also worked really well and kitchen was really nice. Cons: mattresses were too soft and not very comfortable. People do come by to use the boat dock/tenants live upstairs so it’s not the most private. Dishwasher was broken when we were there. Beach by the lake can be a bit shady, I had to sit on the lawn to get some sun during the day.

Hi there! My family and I are so excited to welcome you to Beach & Bonfire Cove. Lake Manchaug has been part of my life since my grandparents bought land in the 1940s, and some of my favorite memories were made right here on the water.
From long summer days at the beach to bonfires at night, this lake has always been a special place for our family. Hosting gives us the chance to share that experience with others and create a space where families and friends can slow down, reconnect, and make memories of their own.
We truly hope you fall in love with lake life here the same way we did.
Why they chose this property

From sunny beach days to evening bonfires by the water, this little corner of Lake Manchaug has been bringing people together for generations, and we’re excited to share it with you.
