Cedar Cottage - Les Cheneaux Landing
Cedar Cottage – A Four-Bedroom Waterfront Retreat with Rustic Cottage Charm
Picturesque Waterfront Setting
Escape to the beauty of Michigan’s Les Cheneaux Islands with a stay at Cedar Cottage, a spacious four-bedroom, two-story waterfront retreat at Les Cheneaux Landing Resort. Located between the charming shoreline towns of Cedarville and Hessel, this inviting cottage offers stunning waterfront views, modern comforts, and a cozy rustic atmosphere.
Nestled along Snows Channel, Cedar Cottage overlooks the sparkling waters toward Marquette Island, the largest of the 36 islands in the Les Cheneaux chain. The island acts as a natural barrier, protecting our mainland property from the open waters of Lake Huron, creating calm, warm waters perfect for kayaking, fishing, and boating in the scenic bays and coves.
Comfortable & Spacious Interior
The warm, rustic charm of Cedar Cottage is enhanced by pine wood-paneled walls and ceilings, creating a classic Up North ambiance. The fully equipped kitchen provides everything needed for easy meal preparation, featuring a full-size electric range, refrigerator, and dining table for casual meals.
For larger gatherings, the open dining and living area includes a spacious dining table—perfect for sharing meals with family and friends. The comfortable living room is designed for relaxation, offering cozy furnishings and a large picture window overlooking the waterfront.
A sunny side deck, furnished with a picnic table and porch chairs, provides the perfect spot for outdoor dining and relaxation while overlooking the sand volleyball court, horseshoe pits, and swing set—allowing parents to unwind while keeping an eye on the kids at play.
Spacious Accommodations for Families & Groups
Cedar Cottage is designed to comfortably accommodate large families and groups with its four-bedroom layout:
Main Level: One bedroom with a queen-size bed, and another with a twin-size bed
Upper Level: One bedroom with a full-size bed, and another with two full-size beds and a twin-size bed
Outdoor Fun & Relaxation
The spacious yard is designed for endless outdoor activities, featuring volleyball and basketball courts, horseshoe pits, a swing set and a sandy swimming area.
Guests can breathe in the fresh lake air from the deck, gather around the community firepit for evening campfires, or stroll down to the dock for unbeatable sunset views over the water.
The docks are also perfect for fishing, tying up your boat, or simply soaking in the natural beauty of Snows Channel.
