The space
PLEASE NOTE: On March 27, 2023, Meadow Lake will be lowered for dam repairs. We have stairs into the water for access to the riverbed. Water levels are high enough to swim, wade, fish, and even kayak. As of April 2025, the water depth is 3ft immediately in front of the property and extends up to 8 ft following the river south toward the SH 123 bridge. Do NOT leave children unattended as there are no guardrails along the edge. Photos have been added of the most current levels.

Longhorn River Ranchis a relaxing oasis conveniently located between San Antonio and Austin. It is the perfect get away if you are looking for a relaxing weekend or week on the Lake or River. The home is situated in an area with little to no boat traffic, which make makes it perfect for swimming, tubing, kayaking or paddle boarding.

Longhorn River Ranch offers a spacious open floor plan perfect for families with one primarybedroom with a king bed and en suite bathroom, a bunk room with 1 full bed and twin over twin bunk beds perfectfor the kids, another guest bedroom with one queen bed and a queen foldoutcouch in the living room for overflow guest. The detached private fourth bedroom includes 1 queen bed and twin foldout.Bathrooms are stocked with bath towels, hand towels, wash cloths, toiletries and toilet paper. The Kitchen is also stocked with pots, pans, dishes and basic condiments. There long driveway with plenty of parking.

Longhorn River Ranchhas a huge yard with lots of outdoor spaces to entertain and great view of Meadow Lake. There isplenty of space to lounge and hang out with family and friends. Outdoor amenities include a propane BBQ grill, anoutdoor dining table, a fire pit, stairs to access the lake, and two kayaks and a canoe to explore the lake and go fishing. Meadow Lake is a little known fishing gem and several species of fish can be caught here including: Bullhead, Crappie, Catfish, Large Mouth Bass and Bluegill.

If you are looking for more of an adventure, you don't have to go far from here to find it. Longhorn River Ranch is located less than 30 minutes away from Schlitterbahn, tubing on the Comal and Guadalupe Rivers in New Braunfels, the San Marcos Outlet Mall, Natural Bridge Caverns, Gruene Hall , Gruene Historic District, the New Braunfels Rail Road Museum, Landa Park, Prince Solms Park and the Faust Street Bridge.

If you are looking to do something close, there is ZDT's Amusement Park, floating the Guadalupe at Seguin Tubes, The Seguin Aquatic Center at Starke Park, Blue Lotus Winery, Seguin Brewing Company, BS Brewing Company and the Pape Pecan Nutcracker Museum which are all less than 10 minutes away.

Guests have access to the entire property except for the locked owner's closet.

Please note before you book!
~NO PETS ALLOWED~ Although we love pets, this property is not fenced in. A cleaning/service charge of $150 will be applied to anyone who breaks this rule.

Included FREE: kayaks, life jackets from infant to adult, fishing poles and more. While these are provided free during your stay, we do charge a $100 lost kayak fee if any are missing upon checkout. Ensure all equipment is properly secured after use.

NO smoking. Smoking of any kind (including tobacco, marijuana, e-cigarettes, vape pens, and hookahs) is prohibited at this property.

NO loud parties or gatherings allowed out of respect for ourneighbors with full-time residence nearby.
