DOWNTOWN LOCATION Downtown Bend is your front yard from this historic perch. Walk anywhere downtown in just a few minutes. McMenamins is one block away and the Market of Choice grocery store is 4 blocks away in the other direction. This charming historic home is tucked into the historic district of Bend it's so easy to get around from here. The Old Mill, Mirror Pond, and Deschutes River all are so close... and of course Mt Bachelor is just 30 minutes up the road. Attending a concert? This home is about a 20 min walk, along the Deschutes River, to the Hayden Homes Amphitheater. Cecil Sly is located across the street from the Environmental Center and their gardens as well.
SLEEPING ARRANGEMENTS This is a fully rejuvenated 1 bedroom home. You'll sleep soundly in a spacious king bedroom with ensuite bathroom. The living room full size pull out couch is perfect for kiddos or a smaller person. Extra blankets and pillows are provided.
HEATING & COOLING This historic home has a modern, high efficiency central heat and central A/C HVAC system. Modern insulation and energy efficient windows boost the energy efficiency and create the perfect indoor climate. You'll also love knowing your stay is solar powered and the homeowner donates 1% of our annual sales to grassroots organizations that help protect and restore our natural environment. A powerful HEPA room air filter is also provided for your comfort. This is the perfect blend of historical preservation with modern and energy efficient systems.
600 MBPS WIFI AND SMART TV Bring your own ethernet cord if you need to access the highest internet speeds. Otherwise, enjoy streaming your own subscriptions and choose from a variety of free channels.
OUTDOOR SPACES & SALT WATER HOT TUB Who doesn't love a covered porch? Pull up a chair and savor your coffee or a good book while watching neighbors pass by. If you need a little more private, quiet time, head for the private paver patio. It's easy to enjoy this sunny patio perch. Cook on the propane BBQ and enjoy outdoor dining on the patio as well. Ready for some hot water relaxation? You'll find the salt water hot tub on the patio. Soak anytime you like, whether to start your day or wind down after a busy day exploring Bend. There is room for bike parking and gear storage in the fenced yard or mudroom of the home. The garage will not be accessible for your stay. ** This is a quiet residential neighborhood! A Stone's Throw Bungalow homes are not appropriate for noisy groups and quiet hours are enforced after 10pm ** We do ask you to be whisper quiet in the hot tub after 10pm.
PARKING & 110 OUTDOOR OUTLET FOR TRICKLE CHARGING You have your very own parking spot in the driveway. There is an outdoor power outlet on the garage that is perfect for EV trickle charging. No street parking available on the house side of the street. Two (2) hour parking available across the street. There is free street parking available just around the corner in the neighborhood 1/2 to 1 block away. Parking is not available in the garage at this time.
THE NEIGHBORHOOD This home rests where downtown and Old Bend meet, a lovely, historically protected, residential neighborhood. City of Bend quiet hours are from 10pm to 8am and are enforced as are Bend's Good Neighbor Guidelines. Between 10pm-8am, especially when outside enjoying the spaces, please keep noise levels very low and be considerate to our neighbors. The property was super cute and just a few minutes walk from the river trail, and a ton of shops, cafes and restaurants. The house was clean and cute, the perfect get away for my spouse and I. We would stay here again!

Stayed here for 2 nights. The house is very quaint. The kitchen is beautiful, gas stove and farmhouse sink. The bathroom is a good size with a nice bathtub shower. Easy walking distance to all of the restaurants and pubs on Bond and Wall streets. Nice walk to Drake Park.
