Most of the summer will have check-in on Sunday or Wednesday and checkout on Wednesday or Saturday. VRBO isn’t very good at communicating this through the calendar so if you are running into an error try changing your check-in or checkout days. Welcome to Little Floyd Lake House. Enjoy views of Little Floyd Lake just steps away from the cabin. This is a lakefront home experience you won’t forget. Enjoy sunsets and s’mores by quiet, clear waters after swimming in the hard bottom swimming area. The whole family will love the floating lily pad, kayaks, and paddle-boards that are included in your stay. Enjoy all the culinary delights DL has to offer (including delivery) and a restaurant right on the lake.
Outdoor spaces: They don’t allow cabins this close to the water anymore! Enjoy 75 feet of private shoreline of crystal clear water on a hard bottom lake just steps from the cabin. Keep an eye on the kids from the cozy chairs by the large windows or the lakeside patio with pergola. A lakeside outdoor dining table, comfy patio set, chaise loungers, solo stove fire pit, kayaks, paddle boards, plenty of parking space and lots of room for yard games (included) are a recipe for lasting memories.
Living/Dining Areas: Cozy up next to the fire in the open concept living room/dining room area with gas fireplace, 4K TV, board games, classic Nintendo games and a beautiful lake view through the large windows. Bedrooms: The master bedroom has a king-sized bed, 55” 4K Samsung smart TV, large walk-in closet with tons of storage, private bathroom with tub, washer and dryer. A cozy kid’s guest room with a cabin-themed bunk bed (sleeps 2) and kids book nook will be a hit with the youngest guests. This bunk room is in close proximity to the master bedroom making it easy to check on the youngest family members at night. Two lakeside bedrooms offer beautiful lake views. One with a comfy queen bed (sleeps 2), a 4k tv, and desk. The second lakeside bedroom includes a twin day bed/trundle bed combo (sleeps 2).
Kitchen:The recently updated kitchen has ample available storage, electric skillet, toaster, waffle maker, crock pot, ninja blender, microwave, in-fridge water filtration and ice maker, measuring utensils, pots and pans, knives, cutlery and more! We take caffeination very seriously and have stocked the kitchen with multiple coffee options. Ninja drip coffee maker, Nespresso Vertuo with milk frother, and a Keurig machine. All coffee to pair with each machine is included with your stay.
Ambience:Set the mood with your favorite tunes on Sonos speakers throughout the house and enjoy sunsets on the lakeside patio.
Guest Access:Besides a locked storage closet and room, and detached garage the entire home will be accessible.
The Neighborhood: Little Floyd lake is big enough for water sports but small enough to enjoy calm waters. Quiet, clear lake with a lakeside restaurant accessible by boat, kayak, paddle board, snowmobile, snowshoe or car! (Human powered modes of transportation will not be easy, but you’ll burn off those delicious calories)
Getting Around: 3.5 miles north of Detroit Lakes. Large driveway with space for six vehicles (no street parking)

There is a security camera pointed toward the driveway. We hope to install a security camera on the dock pointed at the boat this summer to deter theft
