The house itself was beautiful and comfortable. The view from the house was spectacular. It was a great place to stay while visiting our daughter and her family in Colchester. It was a wonderfully relaxing oasis to return to after hectic days with the young grandchildren. I would happily stay there again, and I highly recommend it to anyone looking for a beautiful and quiet spot.

Starry Ridge is amazing! The house is architecturally stunning, is clean and beautifully decorated throughout. The kitchen is well-stocked and a pleasure to cook in. The view is beyond a 5-stars; it is an unobstructed view of a green field, Lake Champlain, and the Green Mountains. It was difficult to leave this special place when our time was up.....if we lived on the East Coast I would be tempted to return multiple times a year. Thank you to the owners.

We are return visitors - both this stay and out last were relaxing and restorative. The home is exactly as pictured, incredible lake views included. Although Grand Island is probably a less popular location in the winter, we think its incredibly peaceful while still being just a short drive to Burlington. The radiant floor heating, fireplace, puzzle table and huge windows made this a great, cozy retreat.
