These cottages were perfect for a two family vacation. They made a nice home base for day trips to Lancaster, Hershey, etc. Very relaxing location and great houses with everything we needed and more. Fire pits were fun for hanging out and making s'mores The owners were great at communicating with us. Great stay - would definitely recommend and revisit!
The houses were clean, and the views were great. It was the perfect spot to fit our family, and it had all the things we needed from linens and kitchenware to toiletries. It was close to many things, like shopping and hiking and I'd love to come back with my sister to just look around and relax some weekend.
We had a great time to meet up as a group of friends and family. The housing and space is great. It is very close to everything as well. In fact, my friend and I walked into and back to town (~1 mile away). They were great to work with as well.
We booked this cabin as our friends booked the adjoining cabin,
let me start by saying host was friendly and helpful,
1)We misunderstood and thought there was a 2br and 4br cabin, that was our fault… there are 2 identical cabins each has a queen bed (that has a very cheep mattress) in the open loft, the 2nd bedroom is a laundry closet that has a cheep high riser (adults won’t sleep comfortably on these beds), otherwise the cabins are well equipped and had everything we needed, trash bags and extra paper towels, plenty of bath towels, bath tissues etc..
2) The area is not very inviting, while it’s located just 5min from downtown Lancaster, it’s on a dead end road surrounded by some trailers and run down homes loaded with lawn debris, and a burning trash around the clock, not the most welcome sight…
3) the outdoors is great for a bonfire and bbq however the fire pits and lake are down a pretty steep hill so wasn’t practical to bring our food down to the lake. Was tough for my pregnant wife to climb back up we ended up eating on the balcony and only made a bonfire 1 night because of the hill.
Overall a decent property not sure if I would stay here again because of the cheep beds and the poor appearance of the area.

Thank you so much for your feedback David. We do try to set expectations in our messaging about the neighborhood, that though is safe, we unfortunately do not have control over others’ properties. We appreciate the feedback on the beds and will plan to make them more comfortable
