Sandy Toes Retreat was very clean and comfortable. We instantly felt at home and had everything we needed in the kitchen, bedrooms and baths. We highly recommend this property, especially during low tides, as the sea life was amazing. Great little getaway spot!

We had an absolutely fantastic stay at Clara's place! It was sparkling clean and super comfortable, and the location was just perfect—only a short walk to the beach. The host was incredibly friendly and helpful, sharing awesome local tips and making sure we had everything we needed. We would definitely love to stay here again!

Great!

We went to gold beach to ride the jet boats on the Rogue River & celebrate our Parents 56th wedding anniversary. My wife, 3 kids, my folks and their two Charlie’s stayed at Sandy Toes. My Sister and her family stayed in town, but the place was perfect for family dinners, games, pool, darts, BBQ, etc. We would stay here again!

Third Visit

We stay here every time we come to Gold Beach. And every time we stay here. Kitchen fully stocked with pans and utensils. Beds always clean. It’s nice to have a washer dryer as well. Hope to make visit #4 !

Absolutely wonderful time

Clare was great. The process was easy. The beach, magical. We were able to see the tide pools at low tide. But the house was beautiful, perfectly set up, comfortable and we lacked for nothing! A truly wonderful experience!

Perfect ocean getaway

Triple level home with master on top floor which is the only bedroom on top floor. Family room is on top floor which makes it great for gathering. Main floor is above garage and has two bedrooms. Both are spacious and each has own bathrooms. All in all a great place to stay for family. Game room in garage is a plus for rainy and cold days. It was storming the whole time we were there and we appreciated the spaciousness of the house. Too 3 of all times for our VRBO experience for this price range.

Very nice getaway

We went to the coast for some much needed R & R. The weather was both stormy and beautifully sunny, but not at the same time. If the greenery across the street grows much more it will block the view of the ocean but it’s accessible on the 3rd floor. The rooms are all large and comfortable. The game room was utilized a lot and our kiddos enjoyed it. The kitchen is stocked with enough cookware and dishes without it being too overstuffed. We brought out dogs and Clare set out dog dishes and towels for them too. It was great. Check in and out was a breeze. We would stay here again!
