As mentioned in the listing and in our communication prior to arrival, we recommend a 4WD vehicle year round for this driveway. Regarding the hot tub, we're sorry for the delay in heating it up to the desired temperature. We understand how important it is for our guests to enjoy this amenity from the start of their stay. Unfortunately your tub had to be drained and refilled the day of your arrival due to previous guests not following rules. We are working to ensure this doesn't continue and have ordered a heater that will allow us to heat the tubs as we are refilling them to help get the temperature back up quickly. Thank you for letting us know about the lights, our maintenance staff has been notified and will correct the issue to ensure guest safety. Your feedback is valuable to us as we continuously strive to enhance our guests' experience. Thank you for sharing your experience. We’re glad to hear the cabin itself met your needs and was well stocked with blankets, cookware, and towels. As noted in our listing and pre-arrival information, this driveway requires AWD/4WD year-round due to the steep and hilly terrain. Our ground crews thoroughly plow and inspect driveways prior to guest arrival, and if a driveway is not passable, guests are notified in advance. Both our team and maintenance accessed the driveway without issue prior to your arrival. When you contacted us regarding the driveway and your brother, a maintenance manager was dispatched and arrived within an hour. At that time, your brother indicated he was fine, did not require medical attention, and shared that the driveway was acceptable and that your group did not plan to leave for the remainder of the weekend. Based on that information, extra grit was applied as an added precaution. We understand how challenging Ohio winter weather can be, particularly in a hilly region, and while we’re sorry the conditions impacted your expectations, weather-related variables and differing communications are outside of our control. We appreciate you staying with us and regret that your weekend did not unfold as hoped.
