Paradise in Old Town - close to Seaworld / MCRD

Summary:

When it comes to location, you won’t find a better one. Walking distance to Old Town and a freeway access ramp less than a minute away takes you to the airport, beaches, Gaslamp, Convention Center, UCSD, La Jolla Cove, LEGOland, SeaWorld and so much more. The best part is coming home to your meticulously maintained home that will offer you a place to unwind and enjoy a good night sleep. In December 2020 we installed NEW CENTRAL A/C SYSTEM so our guests always stay comfortable.

The Space:

Our home has been set up for your convenience. We have stocked our home with everything you would need to experience San Diego and relax. Our home is cleaned from top to bottom after each visit and fresh linens placed on the beds to ensure your comfort while visiting San Diego.


Guest Access:

You will have access to the entire home, the garage and an additional tandem parking space in front. From the balcony you have a view that will take your breath away. Be careful or you just might find that you spent your entire vacation out there.

The Neighborhood:

Old Town San Diego and Mission Hills is a historical and architectural feast. From the city’s first graveyard to a two-century old home and plenty in between, you can easily spend an entire day strolling through San Diego’s historic neighborhood.


Getting Around:
Rental car companies are within a short walk. Or given our close proximity to everything, we always suggest alternative means of transportation. The trolley stop is five minute easy walk or Uber and Lyft are great alternatives to car rental.

Other Things to Note:
You are walking distance to some very nice and delicious restaurants and a quick ride to hundreds more.

My family and I enjoyed our stay. It’s convenient to everything in San Diego and nearby cities. Location is perfect as freeway access was very close. Home was clean and hosts were easy to contact.

Short local stay

We needed a local place to stay while our house was fumigated. The house was in walking distance to great Mexican food in Old Town and close to the 5 freeway. Inside the house was very clean and had coffee at the ready along with shower essentials. Great place to stay!

BOOT CAMP GRADUATION

Walking distance to Marine base which was very nice. Walking distance to several restaurants and shopping. Clean property with garage. Also close to the airport. Don’t know that I will be in San Diego again, but if I am, would definitely stay here again.

Everything was as expected. The place was very clean and everything was in working order. It's kinda small like most buildings in that area, but it was still fine for our family of four. The area was pretty quiet as well, despite being located directly off the street. Also it was very centrally located for our needs. I highly recommend this property.

Overall the property is great! We really enjoyed our stay here. Things are near but not super close. If you enjoy walking, you'll be fine, but if that's not for you, rent a car or use public transportation, which is a little ways of a walk. The location is great for most everything you'd want to do though. I'd recommend this place for sure.

Lovely home

Overall location was great. Has its own entrance and garage space which is very convenient. Close to the beach and bars. Hosts provides toothbrushes and toothpaste which I thought was a good idea. Some scented candles would have been nice to have around.

San Diego Getaway

We enjoyed the stay here. The house looks exactly in the picture. Having a garage space is a plus. The property is within 15 mins wherever we needed to go. Great Location! The second bedroom is great for our teens and has two twin beds. This is the reason why we chose this property. Some property that we look at has one bed for their second bedroom, so this is perfect for the family. My son loves the view from the deck because he can see all the planes take off from the airport.
