Great location on a quiet street, easy walk to the Capitol, groceries, eastern market, and the Metro. The duplex looks newly renovated, nice kitchen and bathrooms, very clean. 3 bedrooms all with comfortable Queen beds. Would definitely rent again!

Communication with host was great, location was good, and parking was easy to find on the street. The house was clean and beds were comfortable. My only complaint was there was no inside dining table to sit for meals.

Home away from home

After a long day it’s aways good to have a comfy place to go back to and we had just that at Abel’s place im DC. The apartment was clean, and comfortable. The location was perfect.

We loved it! Great stay in a good location.

The house was immaculate, nicely decorated, and well-supplied with towels, extra blankets, and plenty of dishes and glasses. Some of my group arrived a day early and they were very happy when they checked in. The bedrooms are a little bit small but were perfectly fine for a week's stay. The Beds are very comfortable and warm and the linens are pretty new. They use a professional cleaning service so the towels are crisp and rolled up neatly on your bed when you arrive. Both bathrooms were nicely appointed with soap, towels, and hair dryers. The house had plenty of space for us to lounge when we returned from our busy work days. We were not crowded at all. There is a cute balcony/patio with a BBQ as well but it was too cold for us to use it. Abel's place is located about 1.5 miles from Capitol Hill, in an up-and-coming neighborhood. There is a Safeway, an Aldi, and a CVS within 3 blocks of walking distance. However, once you cross the main road, that part of the neighborhood is a little bit sketchy and I would not recommend walking over to the shopping center after dark. Ride shares seem to be plentiful and are quick to arrive. Overall, we had a great stay and I would happily book one of Abel's properties again!
